I wasn't really supposed to be publishing this chapter but I'll be really busy in the weekend.

I'll publish chapter 33 tomorrow, no exact time again and that's the last update for this week. :)

"W-What?" We all gasped in unison at his announcement.

F-Facing b-bankruptcy?

"JYPE is facing bankruptcy, and if this continues in the next few weeks, it will leave us no choice but to terminate everyone's contract and close the company."

As Jihyo unnie's seated beside me, it is easy for me to notice how her tears immediately fell from her eyes.

"N-No..." I heard her whisper.

"W-Why? H-How did this happen?" Jeongyeon unnie asks, it was evident in her voice that she is still not believing what's going on.

"Someone powerful set us up and our sales are decreasing really quick, a few fans figured it out and we managed to talk to them and have a deal with them to not post it on social media."

"Or tell it to Dispatch." He continues.

"B-But PD-nim, a-are there a-any options to s-stop this?" Jihyo unnie asks shakily. PD-nim sighs. "W-We c-can tell them that this p-person set us u-up."

"Jihyo-ssi, as I mentioned before, that someone is powerful, meaning the person is rich and has connections with big companies like us, and I figured out that the person has a big connection to Dispatch."

Jihyo unnie shuts her mouth as she muffles a sob, I held her hand, telling her that everything will be fine.

Though I know it may not be.

"As everybody knows, Dispatch targets big companies as always, they send their people to roam around the streets as normal citizens to spy on idols, especially the famous ones."

"Once Dispatch finds out about this, it's going to be the end of JYPE and all of our careers."

"No, that's impossible. PD-nim, we saved up money, right?" Jeongyeon unnie asks. "We invested in a company, remember?"

"We were scammed, Jeongyeon-ssi." We gasped at that.

"It was that someone's plan all along, they threatened the CEO of the company we invested." Our CEO says. "We don't have much money now so basically, it's hard for us to pay someone who can defend us if we file a case against that person."

"Right now, we can't think of another option to do." They confessed. "P-PD-n-nim, w-we can't just let that person dictates our lives!" Jihyo unnie exclaims. "We need to do something! We can't let JYPE fall!"

"We are doing something, Jihyo-ssi, but we don't know if we were last longer than we expected."

Not being able to contain her sobs within her, Jihyo unnie finally bursts out crying, giving pain to everyone in this room with her cries.

"You girls go home and come back here tomorrow any time you want to talk about this matter." PD-nim says. Nayeon unnie was the first one to stand up. "K-Kaja, l-let's rest." She stutters, her eyes are so teary.

We went out without any word, we walked quickly towards the parking lot of JYPE and hopped inside our van right away.

Right after the door closed, we heard Nayeon unnie breaking down with Jihyo unnie.

The rest couldn't help but join them in crying while I stare at them with pity and tears in my eyes.

"Girls, everything will be fine." Manager unnie sadly tells us before she starts driving.
