AN— this chapters going to be more of a wholesome one because armin's a little cutie 🙄✋🏼

As you slowly felt your self drift off to sleep, you were engulfed in darkness as you felt armin's arms around you disappear. Your body suddenly fell cold, realising it was another nightmare. One of the ones where you can't wake up until it's over and all you can do is observe.

A blinding light triggered your eyes to open, the sun beaming down on you as you lay in a field of flowers, just like on that day. You breathed heavily, taking in the fragrant air from your surroundings as birds chirped happily from the tree tops above you.

These were the times you used to live within wall Maria, you would constantly come back to this field, where you, armin, mikasa and Eren would play in as kids. But on this day, you were alone, you can't help but think your self lucky for not staying home. If you had been at home, you wouldn't be here right now.

You stood up, the crunching of flowers under your feet echoing in your ears as you began walking back to the connecting streets of your home town. The cobble stones grinding together under you as you walked. That sound would forever haunt you to this day as it reminded you of the split second where you lost everything.

The sudden smell of smoke filled your nostrils, forcing you to turn around to investigate where it was coming from. The scent of burning concrete resonated throughout the street as everyone around you turned to look too. That's when you saw it, a giant red hand gripping onto the rim of the 50m high wall that concealed you inside. You jaw dropped, as if this memory hasn't replayed itself 100 times in your head before.

Emotionless titan eyes slowly rose over the top of the wall, peering down sadistically at its victims before kicking a large hole in the wall, big enough for a stampede of smaller titans to run in. Screams bounced off the walls of the houses that surrounded you as the Titans gazes fixated on the scent of human flesh. you stared up in horror as your neighbours and others on your road wriggled desperately in a 14m tall titan's grasps, screaming with agony as their limbs were slowly crushed with its grip before biting into them simultaneously.

You ran in the opposite direction, trying your hardest to find a near by scout or officer for help, but you were out of luck. You continued to run down the stone road, your shoes tapping against the floor with each step you took. That's when your hearing was triggered by familiar voices as you neared your house. You stopped suddenly, freezing in your tracks as another titan loomed over your already toppled over home, your family trapped under the rubble.

They screamed in desperation as the titan slowly bent down and grabbed all three of your mother, your father and your sister in its fist, lifting them up to its unhinged jaws.

Just as history was about to repeat its self, you jolted awake, tears rushing down your face as you sat up. You panted heavily, trying to catch your breath.
"Y/n? Are you ok??" Armin called beside you, sitting up aswell to check on you. He joined you on the side of the bed, rubbing his palm against your back to comfort you. "Bad dream?" He asked in an understanding tone, you nodded, still unable to say a word. "It's ok, I'm here" he whispered, pulling your head against his chest before laying you back down as you leant on him.

He leant his head on the top of yours, rubbing your cheeks as he used his thumb to wipe away your tears.  "I've been hurt by this world too" he whispered as he held you tight, "but I won't leave you, I promise" he spoke softly and reassuringly. "Thank you, armin" you said as you turned to face him, lying on your front with one leg over his body. He smiled and nodded in response before planting a small kiss against your lips.

You peered out the window, it was already morning and the birds were out singing and the sound of leather boots outside the dorm was evident. "Let's go get some food" armin announced, "wait for me under the tree" he smiled, getting out of bed and slipping his clothes on. You did the same, pulling your scout uniform over your body and fixing your hair. You headed out of armin's room and instantly bumped into Connie and Jean, who both looked at you, then at the dorm number. "that's armin's room..." Connie said hesitantly before putting the pieces together. "HOLD ON A MINUTE!!" He screamed loudly before you slapped your hand over his mouth to keep him quiet. "Connie, I think we all figured that one out after what we heard last night" jean smacked his forehead out of stupidity.

"Huh? What did you hear?" You asked confused, "OH ARMIN!!! YES!" Connie moaned in a high pitched voice, clearly mocking you. "Oh my god! You all heard that??" You gasped in embarrassment, your cheeks turning red. "Yup." Jean replied bluntly with a smirk, "I'd be surprised if captain levi didn't hear too" he chuckled. "Oh shit!" You cried, thinking of the way levi will react during today's training session.

You realised you might of left armin waiting under the tree so quickly jogged away from Connie and Jean, waving goodbye as you headed over to the patch of grass where the large oak tree stood. You instantly saw armin's golden locks blowing in the wind, mesmerising you as you admired his perfect side profile as he leant his head against the harsh bark of the tree trunk.

You walked up to him, sitting beside him as the fresh breeze blew against your face, refreshing you from the hot summer sun that bared down on you both. "Armin!" You gasped, looking down at a platter of different fruits and pastries. "Where did you get all of this?" You said surprised. "Don't worry about it, just dig in" he smiled "thank you so much" you gushed as you stuffed your face with food. 

No one had ever done anything like this for you before, armin was probably the most thoughtful man you had ever spent time with. You leant your head against his shoulder as you both ate the assorted foods infront of you, gazing at the view of the town before you.

"Hey!! Lover birds! Training starts in ten minutes, get your asses ready!" Jean shouted from the dorm block's door, making you both chuckle at his barbaric words. You and armin ended up finished every last crum of the food, not knowing the next time you would be able to eat food like this again.

"I guess we should get going" Armin said, standing up and reaching his hand down to help you up. You both walked to the training grounds together, laughing and joking as you went.

"Alright, that's enough." Levi called, trying to calm down the energetic group of young scouts before him, who carried on chatting and laughing. "Shut up!" Levi shouted, "tch, brats" he murmured, finally sending everyone into silence.

"We've got a new recruit today, her name's georgia and she'll be training with us from now on." Levi announced, guiding his hand in a very pretty, brunette's direction. She was slim and clearly fit, with deep green eyes and chestnut hair. Your jaw dropped at how gorgeous she was.

You could hear some of the boys behind you muttering about her and how stunning she was. You couldn't help but feel slightly insecure even though your simply the baddest bitch ever purrr 🙄✋🏼

Georgia gave a shy wave at everyone and introduced her self, explaining she used to work as a scout at a different part of the wall but has moved here now. She joined the rest of you, standing in an orderly fashion infront of Levi as he gave his orders.

"Today you'll be pairing up and training one-on-one with a partner" Levi called, "I'll be pairing you up because I don't want you brats messing around" he said sternly, staring directly at Jean and Connie, who smiled innocently back at him. "Jean, you can go with y/n, maybe you'll learn a thing or two from her" Levi said in a smug tone, pointing at a section of the field he wanted you to occupy. Jean pouted childishly at levi, earning an extra cold glare from him.

"And Georgia, you go with armin" Levi said, pointing at armin and then to a space close to you and Jean on the field. They walked there together and stood next to eachother "I'm armin arlert by the way, nice to meet you" armin said politely to her, she nodded and smiled as they continued talking. You could overhear their conversation and even though it was completely innocent, you couldn't help but feel slightly on edge.
