We broke the curse. I was now a fully fledged hybrid and I had been on the run with Nik, Rebekah and Stefan for about three weeks now.

"How much longer till we get there?" I whined. "We are just about there." Nik replied as we stopped infront of a house.

I zoned out as Nik talked to a woman.

Flashback

"I'll never let you go...not until you're cured from your disease." An uneasy voice spoke.

They forced the mixture of wolfsbane and vervain into my mouth making it burn.

"Let me go!" I managed to choke out. "Yes let her go." A darker voice said.
I smiled hopefully at my hero but realised that sooner he would be my downfall.

A faceless man prepared to make the world into horror.

End of flashback

"Sia!" Rebekah exclaimed. "Sorry, I—" I said but she dragged me inside the house. "Dinner." She smiled at me.

The veins appeared under my eyes and I speeded over to the woman. The blood covered my lips and it was if something awakened inside me.

My ripper instincts. I drained every last drop and I felt a little high on blood. I looked over to Stefan and saw he was in a similar state.

"Come come." Nik said as he walked out of the house. Rebekah helped me out of the couch and we left the house.

"How about a little game I like to call truth or wolfsbane." Stefan taunted. I smirked at this, I didn't know he was so evil.

"I'm gonna go feed." I said to Nik and Rebekah. In reality I was actually making a phone call. You see, Damon and I had gotten pretty close and I left without saying goodbye and he was dying.

I quickly dialed his number on the stolen phone I was in possession of. "This is Damon." He answered.

I didn't know what to say to him but tears were fresh at my eyes. "Cassia is this you?" He asked. I couldn't say anything.

"Stop looking for me Damon." I said and my voice shaked a little bit. "Cassia stay strong okay, please." He replied and I nodded even though he couldn't see me.

I hung up the phone just as the other three came outside. "We are going to the hills sister." Nik said as he vampire speeded away along with Rebekah and Stefan.

I sighed and speeded after them.

"Are you sure you don't wanna take a break? We've been walking for quite some time." Nik taunted Stefan.

"Leave him alone Nik." Rebekah and I said at the same time causing me to smile.

"And we've found ourself a pack." Nik exclaimed. "Who are you?" A brunette asked. "The important question is who are we." Nik stepped up infront of Stefan and pointed to me.

"I'm Niklaus and this is Cassia." He said causing Rebekah to roll her eyes. "You're the hybrids." The woman said. "Good you've heard of us, and you're friend here is on his way to becoming one." I said with an evil grin.

"Right on time Ray." Rebekah chipped in as the werewolf woke up. "You said it would feel better why doesn't it feel better?" He asked.

"You're friend here needs human blood are any of you human?" Nik asked. I grabbed a man out of the crowd and bit into his arm.

"Drink, or I will, and believe me I can't stop." I said with a smirk. Ray hungrily pounced on the man and I pushed him back before he could kill him.

"That's quite enough don't ya think?" I said and then Ray started making some inhumane sounds and sped off.

"You two go after him, Rebekah stay with me." Nik  commanded. Stefan and I immediately took of after Ray.

"Here doggie doggie." I called as we neared him. Stefan and I were ready to pounce on him but we heard familiar voices.

"Damon.." I said at the same time Stefan said Elena. "What did you say?" I asked. Being caught of guard Ray bit Stefan. I bit into my wrist and force fed my blood to Stefan. "You're welcome." I said with a smirk.

My wrist quickly healed and we attacked Ray again but he ran off. "Go get in the car!" I heard Damon shout before he came back to our location with Ray.

"Stefan, Cassia." He said out of breath. "I told you to stop looking for me, the Stefan you knew is gone." Stefan said but I could see right through his little act.

Ray again pounced on Stefan and bit him. Bad luck Stef, bad luck. I'd deal with it later.

As Stefan and Damon bickered I dragged out Ray's heart and he fell with a thud. "We have to go back to Nik now." I said to Stefan and he shot Damon one last look before walking away with me.

My heart was telling me to turn back and hold on to him for dear life, but I knew the logical thing to do was to go back to Nik.

I turned back to look at him for one last time and I saw he looked heartbroken.

Stefan dropped Ray's body on the ground. "All of them are gone." Nik said as I looked at the dead werewolves on the ground.

"What did I do wrong?" He asked. "What did I do wrong!?" His voice increasing this time.

"I sacrificed a werewolf, I sacrificed a vampire and I killed the doppelgänger." He said as his voice went back to normal.

My eyes lit up in realization. "Come on." Nik said as he and the surprisingly quiet Rebekah left. "I need to heal Stefan, one second." I said as I chewed on my bottom lip.

Nik nodded and left. "She's not dead is she?" I asked. I bit my wrist and poured my blood into it. "Bottoms up mate." I said as I went to join my siblings.

What a long trip we had ahead of us

That was 1004 words excluding this- and that's pretty impressive for me. And a slight bonding between Stefan and Cassia yay.
