Along with the twelve month came a new problem. The creature I had feared was finally here. "What's go you so cautious lately?" Damon asked as he hugged me.

"Nothing." I smiled. Damon narrowed his eyes at me but eventually gave up. "I need the cure?" He said after a while.

I nearly choked at the mention of it. "What?" I asked as I narrowed my eyes at him. "You know what I mean." He said and his face morphed.

"Silas get away from me." I panicked. "Get me what I need, get me the Bennett witch and the cure." He said finally and left.

I gasped as I got up from my bed. It was all a dream good. "Sleep good?" Damon commented from beside me.

I nodded with my eyes wide. "Wait hold up, why are you here?" I asked him with my eyes narrowing.

"Elena got kidnapped." Damon said simply. "Even as a vampire she fails to protect herself." I said.

"Get dressed." Damon said as he threw me a dress. "Get out." I said. "If I see anything I haven't before I'll throw a coin at it." He said to me with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and entered the bathroom connected to my room. I hardly used any other room in this house seeing as everyone else was gone.

Kol was dead. Elijah just left. And Nik and Rebekah were off somewhere. I finally noticed how short this dress was.

"Stefan?" I queried as I saw who was holding Elena. "You thought you could hide, I am here Cassia and I need the cure." Stefan or not Stefan said.

"Get out of my mind!" I exclaimed as Damon stood beside me shocked. "I'm not in your mind." Stefan replied with a smirk.

"You see, the witches wanted everything to be balanced so they created a part of me that could die and Stefan Salvatore is my doppelgänger." Silas said. I gasped at his statement.

"Couldn't I just fucking sleep in today?" Elena said and I sent her a cheeky grin.

I really didn't expect her to cuss. "I'll get you what you want just leave them alone." I said. "Mark my words, if you don't every last person will die." Silas said as he roughly through Elena to the ground and she glared at him.

okay so sorry if this chapter sucks, it's my first time writing on a pc, also this was a filler, I expect serious shit to go down in the next chapter.
