Kai Chisaki/Overhaul x Reader Oneshots

~When hes sick~

Hey guys! just before i actually start writing this i have something to tell you! I will officially have a kai chisaki x reader book in the making! I thought about it for some time actually and it turns out that because none if this is truly connected by time its harder for me to keep up with it and i tend to have a lot more writers block, i will be keeping this book and updating it i just wanted to tell you i have a better one in the making! And if any of you are interested i currently have 2 other x readers in the making, one being dabi and the other being hawks! The dabi one is more far along than the hawks but i honestly think that it would be amazing if any of you wanted to check them out! Enjoy the chapter please!

You pulled your sick lover back from the open window of the shie hissaikai. "Hunny don't do that." Kai scoffed and turned away from you, trying to get to the very high up window once again as you grabbed him and pulled him back. "I want to die, how could you stay with me during this god aweful time." He sighed as you pushed him towards the bed, a slight giggle escaping your lips and you fought back a laugh. "You sadist. How could you be laughing at a time like this, I'm digusting." Kai let out a dramatic sigh as you pushed him back and put half of the blankets on him, rinsing out the hand towel you had soaked and putting it on his forehead, his breathing was ragid as he tried to stready it, quite frankly not even making his sickness better.

As you could guess, your lover had a 'cold', or rather a fever of 103.2 farenheight. You sighed as you looked down at your tired lover, him struggling not to fall asleep as he adjusted his breathing to his liking. "How could i get sick, i'm cleaner than mr clean himself!" You giggled, putting your hand up to your mouth as you smiled at Kai's childish worrying and complaining. "You don't need to be dirty to get sick, you just over worked yourself love, this is your bodies karma for doing so." Kai glared at you with a pouting expression, your own softening as you looked at him close his eyes and nod. "Now kai, don't leave this bed unless you have to use the bathroom, alright love? Get some rest..." Kai nodded once again, turning over and putting his hand underneath his pillow as he slept, he was out cold within a couple minutes.

However, you were brought out of the trance you were in by someone knocking at the door, your eyes widening as you sighed and stood up. "Master overhaul, there is an important phone call for you." You opened up the door and looked at chrono, you looked a bit ticked off that he bothered you two right now. "Master overhaul needs rest and is sick, i will be taking his phone calls for him today, now please, leave him alone. And tell the others." Chrono looked over you to see a sleeping overhaul without a mask, a towel slightly hanging off his forehead. "I see, do you know how he got it?" You hsook your head no and stepped outside of his room, afraid to wake him from his slumber.

"I think its from working himself to much, stress is a very big possibility." Chrono nodded at your assumption, not even bothering to ask why you were in his room in the first place, he knew what was going on between you and overhaul and that, just that, interested him on how you got him to open up and love you within such a short amount of time, Kai was a odd man and didn't let anyone in like he did too, everyone knew you guys were closed but you just told them that you guys were bestfriends, it was a triangle between him, you and chrono. "Now where do i go for all of the calls and things?" Chrono snapped out of his thoughts and looked a you, a small and gentle smile forming on his face as he walked you to overhauls office, small conversations happening as the two of you walked throughout the corridors of the shie hissaikai. "Well here we are M'lady, his office, are you sure you dont need help?"

You smiled at chrono and opened up the door to the rather spacious office. "Yes i am sure Chrono, and please don't call me M'lady, just because you know whats going on doesn't mean im also your superior, your still a higher rank than me." You giggled as chrono seemingly stiffened, a blush reaching his cheeks under his mask as you called him out on his mistake, you waved him off as you closed the door behind you and started slaving away at the desk in the room.

Your day was filled with answering calls for your beloved, there were a couple of people who were just screaming at you for seemingly 'Trespassing on your masters work duties.', and some others were angry until you told them that he was currently sick and you were taking over for him, which was very odd. You hand was cramping from all of the paper work you had done for your boyfriend, a slight tick mark on your forehead from yor last phonecall. "What the hell did he mean by 'Your a bitch' he was the one screaming at me for 'getting my master sick.' like what the fuck!" You groaned as you continued to walk throughout the corridors, trying to get to the room you've been waiting to enter for the whole time you had been doing work.

Once you came upon the room's door, you heard an audible thump on the other side, so you waited, maybe he was changing or something? You waited for a couple minutes then knocked on his door, a groan being heard from the other side as Kai opened it. "For the last time chrono i don't have a disea- OH hello Y/n" His voice was raspy, he sounded like he just woke up and he looked like death itself, you giggled and flicked his forehead, a slight hissing leaving his mouth as he rubbed it. "Hey what was that for?" You sighed and pushed him to the side, grabbing his hand and putting him on your bed. He looked up at you. "Overhaul i told you to stay in bed." He looked off to the side with a scoff, him crossing his arms and pouting like a child. "Overhaul." He wasn't answering. "Overhaul." Nothing again. "Baby boy?" He looked at you with a slightly pink face and rolled his eyes. "Fine, i couldnt just lay there and not do something, it made me feel like a burden." He uncrossed his arms and crawled to lay back down in his rather large bed, the towel on his forehead behind replaced by a new wet one by you as soon as he got under the covers, getting comfortable.

He looked at you, before you had put on the hand towel you had kissed his forehead as another healing property, just for fun to be honest. And it seemed like it cheered him up a bit, because he looked rather amused that you did so, a slight smirk on his face as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Thank you dear, sorry for being such a burden today." You shook your head no and giggle, he was smiling at the way you were acting towards him at the moment. "You were love, I barely saw you today." He nodded and another sigh left his lips. "I'm going to be so backed up on work tomorrow...you were smiling like an idiot at this point, you stood up and he looked at you. "How was your sleep kai? You feeling better yet?" He nodded once again before saying. "Yeah. i did. But it was interupted mulitple times by rappa, chrono, and mimic." You furrowed your brows together and went to open the door. "Well, get more rest Kai, you need it." He nodded and closed his eyes once more as you left the room.

You stormed off to the common room which everyone was currently in. "All of you, are childish." Chrono looked at you confused yet offended by this assumption. "I told you chrono, to tell everyone. That master overhaul is sick, and you ignored it. Rappa, if you barge into masters room one more time i swear to god i will feed you to the league as a soup dinner in the next meeting. And mimic why you man?" Rappa backed up a bit behind chrono, chrono was left kind of upset from you being so harsh towards the three. "Look i only did it because i was worried Mistress. What i can't be worried for my oldest friend?" You looked at chrono as a slight smirk reached him underneath his mask. "Stop calling me that, im not the mistress here chrono." Rappa and chrono looked at eachother confused. "Your not? I thought that other than chrono and overhaul you were the boss, honestly the nicer one too apparently." Mimic said staring at chrono, apparently the two barely got along, and it was uncommon for them to have a heart to heart moment together. Rappa giggled at the two's childish behavior and went up to you. "I mean technically you are the mistress, your the highest rank a woman has gotten in the shie hissaikai, I'm sure if the pops was out of the coma he would love to know a woman as strong as you got to the top so fast!" He was oddly honest right now, the rest of the group nodding along as you stared. "Y-yeah whatever just don't bother master overhaul anymore...also chrono me you and eri have to go to the grocery store next week.." You tried to change the subject and walk away, which you did. "By mistress!" Everyone yelled, a tick mark appearing on your forehead.
