Kai Chisaki/Overhaul x Reader Oneshots

~ Eri Time ~

"Y/n Y/n!" You were once talking to chrono, but now you were faced with a small child running at you and stopping dead right infront of you. "Can we all go out?" The child said as she pulled on your shirt sleeve, it was too cute, you didn't know how to say no to that girl. "Well who is it that you want to go out with?" Eri put a finger up to her chin as she thought, she of course thought you, but she wanted the other person to get along with you, and since shes actually known whats been going on with you and overhaul she looked up at you and pointed towards overhauls office. "Mr.Bird man! Can we? Can we?" She almost jumped up and down from the suspence of not knowing, chrono looked at you with wide eyes and you sislently sighed to yourself. "How about me and you go ask huh eri?" You stand up from your crouching position and grab eri's small hand before you and her started to walk off into the hallway overhauls office was in.

You two felt like it was forever, for some odd reason you couldn't remember where his office was until now, when you were standing infront of it. You smiled down at the small being that was currently latched onto you and knocked on his door, you do this cute little knock so he knows its you just by hearing it. "It's Y/n, may i come in overhaul?" You heard a bit of shuffling around in his office and the door suddenly opened and his eyes flew to the small child wrapped around your arm and sighed. "What is it you two need?" You let a small giggle come out of your mouth as you saw how confused and concerned he was. "Me and Eri have a proposal, may we come in?" You gently smiled at overhaul as he nodded and moved out of the way so the two of you could walk on in, after you two did he closed the door with a little hum.

"So, what is it you two need again?" Overhaul cocked and eyebrow as he watched you sit down and place the excited eri on your lap, it wasn't common or uncommon that she got to go outside, but thanks to you being there she had been outside a lot more, clothes shopping toy shopping all that kind of stuff, and she had grown attached to you, and when people weren't around she would call you mommy or mom, which you found absolutely adorable mind you. Eri took in a deep breath and blinked at the man infront of her. "Can we go out today Mr.Bird-man!" Overhaul blinked at the small child in your lap and sighed as he started to pinch the bridge of his nose. "N-" "Pleaseee! Mommy already said yes to it!" Overhaul looked at you with wide eyes as you just giggled at the small girl calling you mommy. "Fine, but please god don't take me anywhere filfthy." Eri jumped down and ran over to overhaul, giving him a hug as a thank you for letting her go out, overhaul being the attention deprived person he is just patted her back as he looked at the child confused. "Thank you mr. Bird-man!" "Its...Overhaul-" "Bird man it is!" You were smiling at the two have a small arguement on what his name was, of course you had been told that Rappa told her to call him mr.bird-man or something like that, and she kept calling him that, and she won't stop, no matter how many times he tries to get her too.

"Is this family time or something-?" Overhaul glared at chrono as he said that, all of you were getting ready to go out in the snow, both you and overhaul new this would be a stress-relief day at this point, the only thing that was stressing him out was what if Eri was going to try to run away again? For someone who does this...expirament on her he still cares deep down, he just doesn't know how to show it infront of all of the guys here without seeming weird. "No. It's not family day. I should be at work..." He sighed and put on his hat. You and eri were wearing matching outfits, but with different color palletes. You were wearing the same thing you did that day when overhaul pronounced his love for you, and eri was wearing that but the coat was a light pink, and with a different hat and scarf that was both fluffy and pink, boots pink aswell. You were wrappiong her scarf around her neck and fixing her jacket when overhaul looked at you with wide eyes, and chrono seemingly chuckled at him stopping the conversation the two were having. "Take a picture and it'lllast longer overhaul, stop staring" You giggled as you stood up straight and grabbed ahold of eris hand, she was basically jumping up and down from the excitement of going out with the two alone where they could be themselves. "Ah, sorry you are wearing something similar to what one of my old friends wore awhile back." He silently chuckled at her and went towards them. "Shall we go girls?" Chrono covered his mouth trying to not let any laughter come out, he swore he had seen this type of behavior with families on disney or something but still! This was priceless!

Eri looked up at you and overhaul and yelled "Lets goo~!" Dragging you both outside into the snow and closing the door behind you guys.

It had been an hour since the three of you have left, honestly overhaul had seemed to be more of a loving father when you were around, it was quite odd, or maybe he was always this way with eri when the guys weren't around? God you didn't need to think anymore, you were secretly taking pictures of overhaul tying eris shoes and teaching her how to double knott them, god it was so adorable, the way her eyes lit up when he would ask her what she wanted to do and when he hugged you was a sight you could stare at forever and never get tired of it. "Mommy mommy look what Bird-man did!" She called out for you as the two approached you, she wiggled her little fit as she looked up at you with that gleam of joy in her eyes. "My names not bird man" Chisaki sighed and looked at the ground, making you giggled and eri hug him saying that she was sorry for being 'mean'. "How about this eri, call him Kai-Kun," You got on your knees and rubbed her head as overhaul looked at you, with what you could tell a smile on his face from what you had said to her. "Okie mommy! Kai-Kun can we go over to that cat cafe?!" She pointed at the cat cafe you and kai had gone to the night he had asked you the question, you and him giggled and looked down at her nodding as you said a simple, "Lets go Eri"

You all made your way through the cat cafes doors, the cats meowing and purring filling the ears of your, eri, and kais ears as soon as you all walked in. You looked at the register and oder place and walked up to it as the lady behind the counter had an expression of awe and shock. "Oh hey! Its the two of you again, you came here a lot around two years ago right?" The lady pointed at you and your lover as you smiled and nodded at the woman. "We indeed are, eri what do you want from here?" The lady looked to be confused and looked at the child with a smile on her face as she took all of their orders, kai was getting his plain order of tea and maceroons again and you got your F/f and F/d. All of you walked over to your table, which was a booth next to a window that showed a veiw of the park from across of the cat cafe. "Mommy mommy!" "Yes Eri?" Eri held up her hands for you to see a baby kitten in it, you made an 'awe' sound as kai just looked at it and rolled his eyes. "Awww Yknow you love it Chisaki-San," He ignored her little gleeful assumption and started to pet the cat that was travelling next to the table they were in, a soft pur being heard from the very large and white cat.

Today went by fast, it was now dark and you, eri, and kai all held bags in your hands. You had forced overhaul to get some food from the cafe for the other members of the Shie Hissaikai and, he couldn't say no to you or eri. And you guys had bought things for eris room since it looked plain. "Mommy mommy! Did you like the action figure of Eraser Head i got!" You gulped as the small child had mentioned a hero. "Yes i did sweetie, now we have to get home. Its past your bedtime." Eri made a 'awe' and 'hmph' sound as you told her this, you guys had walked back to the base and tucked eri in, then heading back to work and of course bed.
