Chapter One - The new student

„I heard he sucks dick for money", he took a drag of his joint as he relaxed on his bed.
Gajeel was a tall, muscular guy with spiky black hair and tons of piercings. A stereotypical punk. The 19-year-old went to Fairy Tail high school, his second time in senior year. Last time he tried to graduate, his 40% in several subjects stopped him.

"I don't know, man", his friend Laxus responded, "just because he has more sex than you? Doesn't mean he's a cheap slut", he sarcastically grinned at Gajeel. The black-haired guy looked away annoyed and took another puff.

Laxus was a good friend of Gajeel. He was broad, blonde, and tattooed. He was a year older than his punk buddy and already went to university.
"He is a cheap slut", Gajeel spit, "we made out at your party few months ago".
"I thought you didn't like him?". "Not really, he just annoys me."

The boy they were gossiping about was Natsu Dragneel. 18-year-old senior student at Fairy Tail High School.
There were some rumours about his... sexual behaviour. He did hook up with some people at his school, that was no secret. However, some people spread their more or less false information about him. After all, he was just a regular student.

"By the way, why didn't Loki have time today?"

It was Monday. Natsu woke up later than usually. He overslept, not that it was his first time. Luckily, his cat Happy jumped onto his stomach before first class started. "Shit, shit, shit", he panicked and rushed into the bathroom, brushed his teeth, got dressed and ran downstairs. His stupid brother could not care less about him. He could at least wake him up.

Natsu sprinted to the bus station and caught it last second. He tried to hide how out of breath he was (AN: don't we all?).
The pinkette took a quick look through the bus and spotted one of his friends, Lucy.
"Oof, hey", he said emphasizing that he had to hurry. "Morning, dumb ass. Overslept?", the blonde girl responded playfully.
"Yup, but hey, I made it in time". Natsu grinned.
Lucy and Natsu have been friends for years. Some people thought they were a couple - the big titty blonde bimbo and the pink haired fuckboy.
Although he did have some fantasies about her before, they never came true. They both see each other more as siblings and best friends.
"Are you excited for the new student?", Lucy asked.
"The what?"
"You didn't listen to the teacher last week, did you?", she raised an eyebrow at him, "I heard he's Russian."
The bus finally stopped at their school and they went to class together.

On their way to the classroom, Natsu saw a ginger guy wearing a suit jacket. Loki, he realized. Yes, Loki. The high school heart throb that was dating three different girls a month. He also was the guy Natsu hooked up with on Saturday. Who would have known that the womanizer liked dick in his mouth?

In class, Lucy walked straight-up to her friends Levy and Erza. Levy was a bookworm, so was Lucy. They loved talking about literature. Natsu knew the blondie was writing a book herself, but he forgot about what.
Erza was a scary witch - she was the school's student president and basically the dictator of this school.
Natsu sat down on his seat. A friend of him, Max, came too late (again) (no pun intended). They greeted each other and both realized they forgot to do their homework.

The class was loud and everybody talked. The teacher came a few minutes later. Gildarts Clive taught P.E., geography and algebra. He had ginger hair, stood at 6"2 and was pretty muscular. A daddy, basically. Not exactly Natsu's type though.

As Gildarts tried to calm the class down, the door opened again.
A tall, black-haired guy wearing a grey hoodie looked up from his phone to check if he was in the right room. "I uh..."

"New student!", a certain redhead yelled up. "New student, welcome, I'm Erza Scarlett and I'm the elected representative of the pupils of Fairy Tail High School, you might have already seen me on our website", she made clear. The new student just looked confused and Erza took a grip on his wrist and sat him down on an empty seat. He was sitting before Natsu now.
"Well, okay", Gildarts started, but was interrupted instead. "Introduce yourself, come on", Erza encouraged him with a happy face.

"Uh. I'm Gray and I'm 18", he spoke, unsure of how to escape the awkwardness. "Do you have pets?", someone asked. "No, I don't", Gray answered.
"Is it true that you're Russian?", Lucy tried to satisfy the rumour. "I am", he said neutrally.
"Wow, you don't even have an accent, you speak English so well!"

"I've lived here all my life. I just moved schools", Gray shrugged.

Meanwhile, Natsu already formed his own unique opinion about the raven-haired student:
