Chapter Ten - Friends

Finally weekend. Usually Natsu was happy about the end of the week, no school, no early waking up, no Gray. However, this weekend was different. His friends forced him and Gray to hang out with each other. Lucy, Erza, Max, Natsu and Gray. It was a weird group combination.
Max and Lucy said it would be good for Natsu to spend time with other people, other than his close friends. And for Gray, it would be a great opportunity to get to know the town and make some friends.
The pinkette just hoped this day would pass soon enough.

"I'm sooooo not excited", Natsu yawned as Max called him, waking him up.

"You cannot escape, muahahaha", the dirt blonde friend laughed jokingly and hung up.

Natsu mocked him internally and went to get himself ready.
He brushed his teeth and sort-of got his hair under control.
For clothes, Natsu decided for simple jeans (cuffed), a white t-shirt with a dark blue jacket on top.
It was the beginning of spring. The sun was shining again after the long winter, but it still was quite windy outside.

He loved the beautiful cherry blossom in April, he was looking forward to the sun shining more.

"Well, at least we'll eat lunch. Can't be that bad", Natsu said to himself as he went downstairs to the kitchen to eat breakfast and to feed his cat Happy.

While eating some sandwiches, Natsu browsed through his phone and coincidentally found Gray's profile picture on his message app.

Can't deny it. He's hella hot.

Gray had a defined jaw line, dominant dark blue eyes and clear pale skin. Totally Natsu's type. Too bad they basically hated each other.

Natsu spent the rest of his morning scrolling through his phone, listening to music and playing with his cat Happy.

"I bet it must suck to be alone at home so often", the pinkette said to his pet.
Happy purred in response against Natsu's hand. The male cat regularly 'hung out' with a white cat from the neighborhood, he wasn't so alone.

It was now 12 PM, Natsu should slowly get ready to meet the others at that diner they wanted to meet at.
The man gave Happy some treats, said goodbye and went out the door.
"Oh shit, I forgot my wallet", Natsu realized and went back to his room.

Natsu arrived at the diner a little too late, however he wasn't the last one to arrive. Only Erza and Lucy were already there. He spotted them at a bigger table, went over and greeted them both.

"Hey, where's everyone?"

"Late, I guess. I actually thought you're going to be the last one to arrive", Lucy giggled.
The blonde girl was wearing a baby blue crop top that revealed her cleavage, a fitting skirt and knee-high boots.
Her hair was in a ponytail.

Erza's long red hair was simply open, she was wearing a white blouse and a blue skirt.

Natsu wondered if Erza was as dominant in bed as she is as the school president. Scary witch.

"I hope the others don't take too long, I'm literally starving!", the pinkette whined and he layed his head into his hand.

"I'm sure they'll be here soon, Gray doesn't know the town as well as we do yet", Erza explained in a monotone voice.

"Oh nooo", Natsu face-palmed, "I totally forgot Gray's gonna be here."

"Geez, it's not that bad", Lucy said smiling and layed a hand on Natsu's shoulder, "you two have no reason to hate each other."
