Ch 3: Fervor

Ruby did not know what to do. Someone that she met today, helped and even thought to be a cool man, just killed a medic in cold blood in front of her and her team. She glanced at her teammates who had several degrees of shock as well.

Yang: "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" she screamed/whispered

Weiss: "Did he just decapitate Doctor Johnson?!"

Blake peeked on the corner again.

She saw Hubert and Esther entering one of the rooms, as the big machine latched chains around the body of the doctor and pulled it towards itself.

Ruby: "Okay... okay... Let's handle this tactfully."

Blake: "Two of them entered the room."

Weiss: "What are they up to?"

Ruby: "I don't know, but we have to stop them."

Gloria: "I'd rather you didn't~" Gloria was looking at the corner RWBY had hidden

They froze yet again.

Gloria: "Although, I've been aching to try my chances against these so-called huntsman~
I recommend that you four stay right there and don't -"

Gloria was interrupted by the sound of something heavy crashing against the closed door.

Gloria: "Looks like these two are in trouble~"

RWBY, again, peeked out of the corner to see what was that sound

Suddenly, the door was burst flying, with the now aerial door, Hubert was also, sent flying.

In his wake, was a trail of fire.

The door slammed into the wall, and Hubert crashed into the door, breaking it in two.

Hubert fell on his sides and quickly got up

Hubert: "So, that's the power of the Maiden of Iron..."

Hubert had a curved blade in his hand, chains around the hilt of the blade, and his sleeves

???: "Don't you dare run away from me, Index Proxie!" a voice that team RWBY could recognize.

Esther dashed backward, outside the room

Following him was a woman with red eyes, a black suit, red coat with golden engravings. Her hands, clenched into fists, stoped in front of the two Proxies.

Then, Ozpin of all people walked out of the room.

Ozpin: "Do you require any further support, Xiao?"

Xiao: "Hmmmm... Point Me to the direction of a place I can fight freely."

Ozpin: "I would recommend the battle arena that the students use to practice, but it would seem that we are out of time. Outside this building is fine. Just be sure not to destroy any beacon property"

Xiao: "Understood." She slowly walked towards the nearest window "You heard the man. I'll fight you three outside." Xiao then opened the window and jumped down, quickly followed by the Proxies.

Ruby fell in her butt

Ruby: "What is going on!"

Ozpin looked at the source of the noise and spotted team RWBY

Ozpin: "Ah girls!" he then dashed towards them "I'm sorry for whatever thing you saw these men do, but now is not the time for panic" he then pulled his scroll out "You four are to call the professors to aid Xiao."
