The dingy yellow bus came into view and, I automatically jammed my ear-buds in.
Lights a tangled web of cell phone calls and hash-tag I don't knows, and you are so caught up in all the blinking lights and dial tones.
I instantly turn my music up, as I do so I take a seat in the same battered up seat I have been sitting in for a solid three years now. As the bus ride progresses I found myself hidden in a dome of loud music as my thoughts ran wild. The thought that won't leave my mind goes by the name Michael. His broad shoulders, light gray eyes and beautiful blond hair just won't leave me alone. I mean he isn't very hard to forget in the first place. The involuntary thought crossed my mind as I remember he's probably the funniest guy in my Algebra 1 class. I mean once in a while we'll look at each other, like actually lock eyes. But then again he looks like he couldn't give a care in the world to a girl who wears sweatshirts and skinny jeans ever day with the optional mascara.
The bus suddenly stopped, and me thinking the worst, thought we had just been in a crash, but it turns out that we were just at school and he just wanted slam on the breaks. I really need to get my drivers' licence. I silently grabbed my bag and my phone and eased my way off the bus.
The air's fogging with all the teenagers breathing or smoking. It felt like the temperature was teasing us with the winds. The weather said that the high would only be 14 degrees. Stupid Connecticut weather, it's always so cold. The morning bell was ringing when I got to my locker and that was the signal that meant that everybody should be n their homerooms. But, as usual almost everyone was still at their lockers. To my right I have the privilege of having a front row seat to a make-out session and to my left I have the geek that I call my friend.
This geek has long, dark brown hair with blonde highlights and bright icicle blue eyes. Her petite figure made her look perfect in everything she wore, and to add on she was a straight A student with many internships to keep her busy. As she made her way to her locker she yelled "Good morning Michelle!" Maylyn was happily bobbing over when a jerk ran right in to her and causing her to drop everything. He then proceeded to look at her with a distasteful look and growl "Watch where you're going next time," I literally wanted to go over there and slap him. But I didn't like the coward I am. Instead I ran over to Maylyn and helped her pick her stuff up. She looks very flustered but, I don't blame her. She just looked over her shoulder and stuck her tongue out. Probably the most childish thing to do in this situation.
The two of us got in and out of our lockers as soon as possible, and made our way to homeroom. It was nice to know that you had at least one class with your best friend. But, when its with your twin sister then, it can be a little difficult to try and not act like you live with them 24/7.
Allison, my twin sister, walks in and sits right next to us. Some people say that its so easy to tell us apart and then there are the others that always mix us up except for that one lucky chance when they actually do get it right. People are always asking whether we are twins, like they can't believe it. Or if we like being a twin but, we always have the same answer. We don't know anything apart from being a twin. It's almost like me asking you if you like being part of a family.
The bell rings telling us to get to our first class. Everyone is trying to get out the same door at the same time and it starts getting stressful. Finally the blockade is removed and I start speed walking to my next class before the late bell rings.
My first class was History, I love the subject but the teacher, lets just say I have a respectful fear of her. She started the class with a whole flip-chart reviewing the reasons why the American Revolution happened. We were all prepping for a big unit test that was in two days. Ms.Foxx was pretty good at letting us know the week before the test and even then she gives us specific study materials just days before the test. It sure seemed as if history was the longest class of the day. I am not a very good studier when put under pressure, I most likely will mix things up and then take the test with full confidence and get a solid B-. The class felt like it was going to last forever. That's when the God's heard my prayer and the bell rang.
The rest of the day went by pretty fast. But, I couldn't wait for lunch. To be honest lunch was my favorite 'class' of the day. The sweet aromas that fill the cafeteria and it's also a time where you just get to laugh and talk with your friends. Today's lunch was a cheese calzone with marinara sauce, or a freshly put together salad. Since I've been trying to get healthier I decide on a fresh garden salad, with a bottle of flavored fizzy water.
I wasn't the first one to the table. Allison and two of my other friends were already sitting at the table. Larry and no it's not a guy, she's just a huge Larry shipper, and Jade were shortly there as well. Larry has a unique style where she'll wear a cute little dress and her tights ans then a pair of converse. Yes, she is one of those girls, she has short shoulder length blonde hair with red highlights. Jade is a natural brunette but she loves dying her hair all different natural dark colors. Like a darker red, or a purple that isn't noticeable in her hair. She probably has the largest eyes in the world and she has a very bubbly attitude towards everything. Jet black hair and naturally tanned skinned Mikey finally sits down with us and is already complaining about how hard the English test was.
Before we all knew it lunch was over and the rest of the day flew by and it was already time to leave. I gather my things from my locker. Being me I find a hole trying to rip it's way across the bottom of my backpack. I heavily sigh and continue to get all my homework. I'll have to carry some of this. I only carry my math things and wait for Maylyn to get over to my locker. She finally found me and we went on our way to the buses. I was only about five feet from my locker when I heard a god awful ripping sound come from behind me.
"Michelle what was that?" Maylyn asked worried.
"My backpack, can you take a look at how bad it is?" I gave her a glance that showed her that this needed to be quick before it got worse. She hurried over to my backpack and inspected the damage.
"It's pretty bad, you could probably make it a couple more minutes but, then it might just give out."
Great this exactly what I needed today. I made my way out of the school very quickly as Maylyn walked behind me the whole time. I made it almost two steps away from the bus when I ran into someone and my backpack gave way. I got red fast and I heard someone saying sorry. I told them it was okay and went to go pick up my books and, they helped too.
"I don't think I've met you before but, the name's Michael." My eyes got really big and I my cheeks turned a dark red maroon color and I can't believe this is happening.
"Um, my name is Michelle and uh thanks sorry for running into you," I reply and he met my eyes and I stood up and told him goodbye and he did the same. The bus ride home was just like the bus ride to school. Loud music and being lost in my thoughts are two things that I am pretty good at. My phone vibrated and without looking at who it was from I unlocked my phone and read the text.
"Hey, just wanted to ask if you were up to coming over to my house to do homework and just hang," it was from Maylyn. I replied telling her that I would be over in about half an hour and that I'd bring some food. But, thank god the day was finally over.

Hey guys, this was just kind of a chapter were i had no idea what to do for the ending so it's kind of lame but, thanks for reading. And as you can see the chapter is longer than the last one. I'm working on doing longer chapter so that they aren't just lame and short.
