The sound of my alarm clock screaming at me is the only thing that wakes me up in the morning. Apart from the rich smell of coffee wafting it's way to me. I finally get out of bed and feel the cold floor under my toes, and make my way to the bathroom. As I take a look in the mirror I mentally laugh at my own appearance. My honey blonde hair all tangled, and last night's eyeliner smeared down my cheek. "Michelle, you're gonna be late for school"
That's my mom, she usually would be in here waking me up earlier than my alarm clock but, not today. She was about to go to a job interview and I was quite happy for her. She hadn't had a job since I was born, along with my twin sister, Reagen. And just to let you know that's about 15 years now.
I quickly made myself look half decent before trotting downstairs and saying 'Good Morning'. As I arrived I quickly took notice that breakfast was already on the table. She must've been up pretty early to make pancakes and eggs. I turned around and there stood my beautiful mother. She was wearing a maroon blouse top, that made her hazel green eyes pop nicely. And along with that she had her blonde hair up fancely. "You like it?" she questions, "I wasn't sure if I should do this or a green top,"
"No, I like that alot," Reagen said while walking in and grabbing a pancake. "But, you should add a piece of shiny jewelry." I nodded in agreement and, Mom went up and started the search for a nice necklace. Reagen was on her fourth pancake by the time Mom came down and did a full turn to show off her full outfit. "Yup, I think that pulls everything together nicely" I complimented.
Mom gave me a thankful smile as she gave us both a kiss on the top of our heads and left. After she left we both made our way to the bus stop and got there just in time to not miss the bus.
It was just another day to get done what had to be done.
