[Season 3, Episode 2, Part 1]

Diane's thoughts were wandering around, not focusing at all on AAARRRGGHH's and Toby's conversation. ''Right, Diane?'' Toby asked, making her boggle. Toby frowned. ''You okay, Diane?'' Diane sighed. ''Yes, I'm very 'okay' Tobias. It's not like this day has been like straight from hell.'' The voice of her oozed from sarcasm, but Toby seemed not to notice it. ''Oh, okay then.'' He eyed the street, searching for some trolls. ''I'm going to laser-arena with Darci!'' Diane frowned. ''Laser...arena?'' Toby looked at her, his mouth open. ''What?! You don't know what a laser arena is? Oh okay, let me explain. Oh, maybe not now. Maybe...'' Toby ruffles through the list of trolls. ''Okay, let's see...That we got, that too...''
Diane left him mumbling with his phone and leaned on a wall. With a sigh, she fidgeted her hair, making the long dark auburn strands go through her fingers. Diane stared tightly at her dyed, dark magenta hair ends. Did Douxie do something similar? Diane strained her memory at the moment she met Douxie at Arcadia's Oaks High. He probably had dyed the end of his hair...In blue! Diane flinched, head shotting right up. She was sure she heard something. Closing her eyes slowly Diane focused on making her mind travel, going over the streets, almost bumping into a couple. She stared at them for a moment, remembering the past. If someone would say her heart was aching, she would deny it. Yet in the corner of her mind, she knew the truth. Diane then shook her head and traveled further, finally finding closing police cars. Her eyes opened wide, and she walked fastly to Toby, who was talking to Rot and Gut. ''Toby...'', Diane started.
''Don't interrupt me, Diane. I'm having a serious conversation with Rot and Gut'', Toby said loudly without looking at her. Diane raised her other eyebrow. ''Domzalski, I was just thinking, that you would be interested in hearing, that-''
A bit too late. Diane could already hear the sirens. ''-police is here'', she finished her sentence. AAARRRGGHH's and Toby's eyes widened, and both of them tried to search for a hiding place. AAARRRGGHH climbed the ladders up, whilst Toby panicked. Diane sighed in frustration and took her staff out. Mumbling something about humanity's stupidity and a few words in Wizard-ese (yes, I know it's not a word yet. Well, in Trollhunters, but it is a word in Wizards, so technically-...You know what, let's just continue) she started to turn invisible, not seen with a bare eye. Diane glanced at Toby, who had found (some kind of) a place to hide. Behind the cover of a trash can. Diane could've facepalmed, but she had to keep her focus on hiding herself. So, she watched when Toby tried to run and was caught by the police.
Diane removed her spell after she was sure the police were gone. She sighed. What a day. And she couldn't call Jim, because she didn't use phones nor know how to use them.
Diane touched lightly her hanging earring on her right ear, hoping that Umbreona would answer with her own, identical earring. No answer. Diane sighed again. She looked over her shoulder to see AAARRRGGHH coming down.
''AAARRRGGHH, go tell...someone about this. Or...No wait, go back to the other trolls, tell to Blinkous and wait for James' call...Tobias will call him eventually, and we'll get to know where he is.'' She kept a small pause. ''I'll search for Umbreona and then gonna head to James and Claire-'' Diane blinked a few times and then groaned from anxiousness and frustration. ''Why do I even care? Why am I involving myself in this? Humans do what they want!'' AAARRRGGHH stared at her, not being angry nor happy. ''Because you are good. You help people in need.'' His deep voice said. Diane looked up at him. ''And you're sure about that, Aarghaumont?''
''Yes.''
''Fine.'' Diane rose and started to walk away, not forgetting to give AAARRRGGHH a small nod with a serious face. ''I'll be going now.''

Diane walked on the streets, trying to search for Umbreona, starting with her part-time job place. She stretched her lavender-colored turtleneck sweater, not liking its fabric at all. The coffee black jeans felt too tight. How do people these days ever use these? was all Diane could think while walking to the cafe Umbreona had mentioned. The place where she worked. Diane came in front of the cafe, eyeing the outside of it. Well, I'll just go and grab Umbreona by saying it's an emergency. It can't be that hard, can't it?
It was that hard.
Stepping inside of the crowded place Diane couldn't see anything, so how could she possibly find Umbreona?
''Are you searching for someone?''

Diane used all her willpower not to flinch, turning around slowly and calmly. She met the most familiar eyes. ''Casperan.''
''Diane.'' Douxie's smirk grew wider. ''Still won't call me by my name, huh?''
''What are you exactly doing here?''
''Not even a 'Hi'? Geez, you haven't changed.'' Douxie shifted his legs. ''I work here.''
Diane knew he was trying to make the situation less awkward, not to mention yesterday. She just stared at him with a cold, piercing look in her eyes.
Umbreona instead did a perfect timing in bursting in. Immediately Diane's gaze and attention turned towards Umbreona, who looked a bit confused, tilting her head so that the black hair rolled over her shoulders. ''Uhm...Diane, what are you-''
''Umb-'', Diane bit her lip to not tell Umbreona's elf name. ''Bianca, this is an emergency. Come now, this instant.'' She didn't look back as she marched away from the cafe, away from those beautiful, amber eyes staring at her.

(A/N): Hello peeps!
Hopefully, you liked this chapter. It was longer than my previous chapters, but I'm happy with it! Also, the episodes of Trollhunters are so long and they have an amazing plot, so I probably have to write two chapters per every episode. I hope you don't mind...
But, I want to explain some details about my characters!
You have to know that I'm not the original creator of Umbreona, Diane's familiar/friend. When I was (a bit?) younger, I and my sister watched Trollhunters, absolutely fell in love with it, and decided to do characters. Therefore, Diane and Umbreona came to life for the first time. Kind of.
You probably know pretty much about Diane, due to my first published part of the introduction, but what about Umbreona? 😲
Umbreona is an elf, you probably knew that already. Elves' origin is in Europe, France. Yeah, me too. Why not Ireland? I dunno, ask my sister.
Elves live in villages that are built like normal, these days' villages, except with the help of nature. Every single house is built from wood, but it's not cut, honed, or anything, It's like...the tree would've grown its roots in the shape of a house.
There are no royales, but there is a ranking. For example, usually, elves don't fight, because the last fight of elves was a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago. They didn't even come to the battle of Killahead, so you can imagine how long, although they do train warriors, just in case. Or something like that...
Umbreona was born as the type, who can grow taller than the regular elves. Usually, those types are selected as future warriors. Umbreona did go through the training, but I guess she liked more ambushing and finished her war-studies with assassin training.
Elves have tails. Yes. Humans don't, but elves do. The tails are like normal...tails of an...uh...animal? The look of the tail depends on the elves themselves. Umbreona's tail resembles the lion's tail.
There is a difference between animals' and elves' tails, though. Elves, unlike animals, have plants growing from their tails. And not like pot plant type. The plants are not heavy, but they make the tail extraordinary. Umbreona has laurel leaves and hyacinths in her tail.
And that's it. Thank you for reading, see ya!
