Previously...

Then, after some time I was able to calm Robin down without him burning me alive.

"Easy, boy! You're okay now." I whispered, looking Robin into the eyes and he calmed down a little.

"How-?" Michael asked behind me and I smiled.

Now...

"It's all mutual. He can calm me down and I can calm him down. We have some kind of connection." I said, looking at Michael and then turned back to look at Robin, who seemed exhausted and laid down, closing his eyes.

"Get some sleep, buddy!" I whispered, patted his head, stood up and walked next to Michael.

"The other dragons are still mad though. Want to calm Harry's dragon down?" Michael asked and I shrugged.

"It's a Hungarian Horntail, isn't it?" I asked and he nodded.

"You seem like you know a lot about dragons. No wonder Charlie thought so highly about you." Michael said, laughing. I chuckled and then saw that the Hungarian Horntail was hella pissed. He growled and spit out flames.

"Woah, easy there! You need to calm down!" I saw Charlie saying and I chuckled.

"You're doing well I see!" I said and Charlie turned to us and shook his head, chuckling.

"Go on...give it a try! He's pissed!" Charlie said and I chuckled.

"Fine...what's his name?" I asked him.

"It's Jacob. I didn't name him so don't blame me." Charlie said, putting his hands up in surrender.

"And you ask why he's pissed? You don't even appreciate his name." I said, laughing and then both he and Michael joined in.

"Ah, shut it! Go on, try to calm him down." Charlie said.

I nodded and walked closer to Jacob, who was breathing heavily.

"Okay...Jacob! I know Charlie can be a prick but calm down. We don't wanna hurt you." I said quietly and looked Jacob in the eye, who seemed to calm down but just a little.

"See? Calm down...we won't do anything to harm you!" I said and walked closer to the cage and stuck my hand out, closer to him...to touch his face.

"Just...how?" I heard Michael asking.

"I wish I knew. She's good at everything!" Charlie said and I smiled.

"It's okay, Jacob. You're okay now." I whispered and walked even closer and Jacob took a step back but then looked at me again...walked back closer to me. In fact...so close that my hand was now touching his head.

"You're okay. Get some sleep." I whispered again and then he laid down and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and basically falling asleep.

"She's the next Newt Scamander. I'm telling you." Michael whispered to Charlie while both of them were watching me with their mouths open.

"Just be more friendly...not firm. They'd like you more." I said with a chuckle, looking at their faces.

"You're just good at this!" Charlie said and I shrugged.

"Maybe...but I'll go now!" I said and said bye to both of them but they stopped me.

"Actually...we have a surprise for you. Well, it was my idea but Michael helped." Charlie said, and I looked between them, confusedly.

"What? What did you two do?" I asked and Charlie chuckled.

"Nothing bad. It's something good, actually. I had this idea in summer already...when I had to go back to Romania with Robin. I thought...I'd surprise you with him. A present...for you. Hagrid can take care of him while you're in lessons but still. We talked with our boss and he eventually agreed on leaving Robin for you. Robin missed you a lot...and by the letter that Fred sent me...you missed him too. Fred begged me to come back for a few days and bring Robin with me so you could sleep peacefully again. Said he'd do anything if I came back with Robin...so you can partly thank Fred." Charlie said with a smile, and I felt some happy tears rolling down my cheeks and I hugged him, tightly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you so much! Oh my God...I gotta thank Freddie too! And your boss too!" I said, sniffling.

"It's no problem. I got worried when Fred said that you couldn't sleep without Robin. I mean...you can't exactly take him into your dorm but he'll be staying in the forest...and whenever you need to get away from everything you can go to him. And if you need some comfort you can also go to him." Charlie said and I nodded and hugged him again.

"Thank you...for everything! It truly means a lot! I should go now though. He's sleeping and Harry's probably worried. Bye, Charlie! And bye Michael!" I said, hugged them and then ran away, hearing them shout 'bye!'.

Then, I made it to the castle and walked to the Gryffindor tower. Said the password to the portrait and walked into the common room where everyone was happily dancing.

Probably a party for Harry.

Then, I looked around and ran to Fred.

"Thank you, Freddie!" I said, hugging him, tightly, and he hugged me back.

"You're welcome! But...what did I do?" Fred asked and I chuckled.

"The letter you sent to Charlie. He gave Robin to me." I said, happily and he smiled brightly, hugging me again.

"Oh! I'm happy for you, darling! I didn't know he'd give Robin to you but I'm not complaining because I can see you happy." Fred said with a smile and kissed my forehead.

"What did I miss?" I heard George asking from behind Fred and we both turned to face him.

"Nothing. I'm just happy because I can have Robin with me again!" I said, happily and hugged George.

"Wow! I'm happy for you! But we were all worried about you when you disappeared after the task. But then Harry said you went to Charlie and Ron said that you're probably helping calm down Robin!" George said and I chuckled, letting go of him.

"I'm better at calming the dragons down than Charlie. He-" I started but a tight hug cut me off.

"I missed you too, Lee!" I said with a chuckle and Lee pulled away from me.

"Don't disappear like that! I got worried! You're one of my best friends." Lee scolded me and I nodded, giving him a hug.

"I won't. And even if I do...I'll tell you where I'm going." I said and he nodded and then I said bye to them and went to Harry to congratulate him again.

"Congrats, Harry! I told you, you're going to be okay!" I said and he hugged me, happily.

"Thanks, Y/N. Also...do you know what to do with the next clue?" Harry asked me and I chuckled.

"Well, solve the riddle," I said and Harry rolled his eyes.

"Oh, you don't say. I meant...did Charlie tell you what's the clue? Because when I opened it...it was just weird screaming or some random screech. It was awful, really." Harry said and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Oh, no! Charlie doesn't even know what's the clue. His job was to make sure that the dragons protect the egg. Pretty sure he didn't even want to know what's the clue. But...screeching or screaming you said? Maybe...the mermaids in the Black Lake? I don't know. I'm not a genius, Harry." I said and he looked at me, confusedly.

"Why do you think it's the mermaids?" Harry asked me and I shrugged.

"I mean...they speak underwater so...pretty sure they can't talk out of the water. Just like you can't speak under the water but you can speak out of the water. You know what I mean?" I asked him and he nodded, happily.

"You're brilliant. I'll see what I'm gonna do with it. To make sure it's the mermaids. Also! Ron and I are talking again." Harry said and I smiled, happily.

"Thank Godric! You two were annoying Hermione and me with this so much." I said and Harry gasped dramatically.

"And you never told me you speak french!" Harry said and then I heard a gasp behind me.

"You speak french?!" Ron basically screeched from behind me but the twins, Lee, Ginny and Hermione heard and came to us, confusedly.

"Y/N speaks french? What can't you do?!" Lee asked, confusedly.

"Just a little though!" I said and Harry scoffed.
