The pink haired child felt a calming presence surround her body. She couldn't tell if she was dreaming or not, she could hear voices but all she could see around her was darkness. She felt her muscles relax and heal from all the stress and running. Keep running and don't stop. Be brave, Princess. Mommy and Daddy will be okay, we won't let anything happen to you. I promise. Her mother's words echoed through her head. She wanted to see her mom and dad again. She knew they were okay, they promised her it would be okay and they never break their promises.

"Wendy, what's happening...why hasn't she woke yet?" Erza said softly. Wendy, Carla, Erza, Laxus, Gajeel and Master waited in the infirmary for the child to awake.

"I don't know, I'm sorry...my magic should have cured the exhaustion, but this fever is unnatural. Her skin is almost hot to the touch as if her body radiates heat, and no matter what I do I can't bring it down." Wendy said with tears in her eyes, healing was the one thing she was good at, if she couldn't even heal a helpless child what good was her magic at all.

"Could it be some magical disease, she would summon Porlyusica?" Laxus asked with concern.

"Wendy's magic could handle any fever, magical or otherwise. We know nothing about this child. Perhaps this is her natural body temperature?" Carla pointed out. She was confident in Wendy's ability. More confident than Wendy herself was. If Wendy couldn't fix it then maybe there was nothing to be fixed.

"Who's body could live at that temperature!?" Gajeel asked at the infirmary entrance. The iron dragon slayer still couldn't figure out why the girl's scent bothered him so much.

"Where-where am I?" a soft voice called out. They all turned as the pink haired child slowly opened her eyes. She shook herself awake. She felt something cold on her skin, the child reached up to feel a cold damp rag resting on her forehead. "Ewww, what's this" she said with disgust trying to remove the rag.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, you have a nasty fever right now and we're doing our best to cool you." Erza tried to calm the child.

"Nah I feel great! This is normal for me, I've never been sick a day in my life! Did one of you heal me with sky magic? It feels the same as when Vesuvi treats my injuries after training." The girl asked happily looking at all the strangers staring at her with utter confusion on their faces.

"Uhhh it was me..." Wendy stuttered out. How did this little girl know about sky magic? The blue-haired dragon slayer asked herself in her mind. Wendy was the only one she knew who could use this type of magic. Shelia too, but she still hasn't gotten all her magical power back.

"Thank you so much, you're a great healer, I feel as good as new" The girl said with a smile. Wendy blushed at the compliment.

"Have my mom and dad come to get me yet? I want to make sure they're okay" the girl said with a smile. She didn't know how long she was out but surely her parents had come back to her by now. They promised.

"You're at the Fairy Tail guild hall in Magnolia" Master Makarov answered, if anyone was to break the news to the girl it would be him, but he would do it slowly and carefully. "What is your name, child?

"Nashi..." she replied, she could tell by their sad faces they did not have good news to share. If her parents were here, they would have been by her side when she awoke. Fairy Tail...Magnolia...those sound familiar, Nashi thought to herself. I have to get back to them, they could be in my trouble. Daddy wouldn't let anything bad happen though, he's stronger than those monsters. But how? I don't even know how I got here, how am I supposed to get back home...
