"Heeeey guys" Lucy sheepishly muttered. "Whaaat are you doing here?" Lucy asked, feeling as if a lump of cement was stuck in her throat, her palms sweating profusely. This can't be happening...this is a real life nightmare, Lucy thought to herself in a panic.
"We should be asking you the same thing Bunny Girl" Gajeel growled up at her, his Iron Dragon slayer brain unable to process the revelation before him.
Nero took this opportunity to step in front of Lucy and with a polite bow towards Gajeel's table he said, "Please refrain from addressing my Empress as 'Bunny Girl' or I'll have you drawn and quartered by sunrise." His violent threat terrifyingly juxtaposed to his charming demeanor. Gajeel swallowed in fear trying to hide how petrified he was of the green-eyed gentleman.
Lucy was completely ignoring everything going. Her mind spinning with dread. She was afraid, afraid of all the terrible possibilities that she was now faced with. Natsu...please save me, Lucy thought to herself. "It's...it's not possible...how did you all find us here?" Lucy whimpered, breaking the silence that deafened the hall. The other Fairy Tail members were caught in a stupor of confusion.
When it was clear nobody was going to respond to his queen, Nero shuffled to her side and pointed gingerly to the back of the room where a certain blue cat was in the process of trying to sneak through the enormous wooden doors.
"It was you..." it all suddenly clicked for Lucy, the dining room vanished in her mind, her Fairy Tail family, Nero, all of it gone. All that remained in Lucy's mind was a blank void and one soon to be dead cat. "You're not going anywhere you stupid furball!" Lucy screamed at him. "What have you done!?"
"Me!?" Happy retorted quickly. If he was going down, he was going to go down swinging, and besides, fighting with Lucy was one of his favorite pastimes. "You sent Nashi to Magnolia! Magnolia of all places! What did you expect was going to happen!?" Happy snapped back at her.
"Ummm, excuse me? I was being chased by that scary child monster thing. I didn't have time to think about where I was sending her, the spell just sent her to the first safe place I could think of" Lucy scolded him like a mother.
"So then, how is it my fault the guild found her?" Happy asked, feeling confident he would win this argument.
"The guild finding her is one thing but you then invited them through the portal with you!?" Lucy was getting more and more angry. As Happy and Lucy's argument continued it was clear that both of them had forgotten the other three dozen people in the room.
"I didn't invite them, they kidnapped me in a block of ice!"
"Oh a likely story, cat!"
"It's true, they were so mean to me Lushiiie"
"Nuh-uh, your tears aren't going to save you this time!"
"ENOUGH YOU TWO!" Erza yelled as her sword came crashing down on the nearest table slicing in cleanly in two.
"Ahhh! We're sorry Erza!" Happy and Lucy cried, jumping into each other's arms for comfort.
"We're done with lies Lucy, we DEMAND to know what's going on, so speak! And you better hope we like your answers!" Erza commanded with her furious tone. Lucy had never seen Erza so upset, not even at Natsu, though she had every right to be. That fact didn't make her any less frightening. Nearby Nero squinted in anguish as he knew what was about to happen.
"You will not speak to her majesty in such a manner, peasants!"
The doors of the great hall burst open in a fury. Barging through came an enormous and terrifying creature. Deep red scales covered its large body. It was nearly 30 feet tall. The room shook with each step it took, its long vicious claws digging into the stone floor. The creature's black eyes emblazoned with rage as it reared its head back.
