IT HAD GOTTEN COOLER. The later the night got the more the temperature dropped in the air.
The more the temperature dropped on the air, the more the two teens would stay out. In the specific area they were in made it cooler than normal.
When they were done eating and talking about deep shit, the two walked along the dark streets once again.
They talked about random stuff that made Todoroki feel at ease.
They soon ended up at a beach. It was so late, that it was completely empty. No one was in sight.
The waves crashed along the sand that used to be covered in garbage. The salty smell of the air lingered in their noses.
No lights could be seen in the area, making it much darker than when they were eating. Todoroki didn't like the eerie feeling in the air.
To light their way along the soft sand he used his phone flashlight to clear a pathway.
They walked by the side of the ocean with shoes in hand. Todoroki could feel the small grains of hand dig between his toes.
The calming sensation made him feel at ease, along with the girl next to him.
He looked down to y/n to see her playing with her necklace yet again. Her hair fell onto her face as she looked down to her feet.
She could also feel the squishy sand between her toes, but she enjoyed it much more than Todoroki.
Little did he know she'd been to this beach many years ago. She came with her mom.
Every little memory all brought back good feelings. Something she didn't expect was to feel her mothers joy by standing next to Todoroki.
Thinking about this the wind picked up, she felt a light breeze travel through her body. It indicated her thoughts were right.
The little signs she'd get from her mom would be enough to convince her she was doing the right thing always.
All of a sudden she came to a halt. Stopping her walking she looked to the boy and smirked.
Her playful personality coming into view made Todoroki feel something in his chest. He wasn't quite sure if he was nervous or excited.
It's easy to get the two mixed up.
"You wanna go swimming peppermint?" She pointed her thumb to the ocean that was only a new feet away.
Todoroki though for a moment. "But then we'd get all wet. We should have to walk in wet clothes..."
y/n shook her head than pointed her pointer finger towards the boy. "You have a half hot half cold quirk right? You'll just dry us off!"
Her notion was correct, and how could he say no to her. Todoroki wanted to have as much fun as they've been having for the past few hours.
He nodded his head confidently again. Maybe this would get them potentially arrested like the other one...
y/n set her backpack down on the dark sand.
In the blink of an eye she was already taking off her clothes, leaving her and a bra and underwear.
Todoroki covered his eyes at the sight. He shouldn't be looking at a girl half naked, they'd only just meet.
It wasn't a gentlemanly thing to do.
His face was hot and heart was pound as he spoke. "Why did you take your clothes off? I though we were just swimming?"
y/n laughed at his embarrassment. "It's just like a bathing suit peppermint. Now c'mon and join me!" She ran into the water leaving Todoroki a nervous mess.
Reluctantly he took his clothes off as well, leaving him in his boxers. He set them next to her and joined her in the salty water.
As he slowly emerged into the ocean he noticed the drawing on y/n's skin. She apparently had more than the one tattoo.
"How come you have another tattoo?" Todoroki asked pointing to her shoulder.
The tattoo was a small drawing of a cherry. It was black and white unlink the flower on her kneecap.
She pointed to the cherry and said. "My parents didn't really care what I got so... they just had me go and let me do whatever."
She swam over to him motioning to come closer. He complied swimming the same distance.
She grabbed onto his shoulders to steady herself. Moment passed where all Todoroki could look at was her beautiful e/c eyes.
Her hair fell off her shoulders, it was let down from the half up half down style.
His eyes fell to the piercings on her ears and the one on her nose. "What about the piercings...?"
y/n shrugged her shoulders looking him in the eye. "Again... they didn't care, but I did those by myself. They never cared what I did at all."
There was no sadness in her voice, it was just a straightforward answer.
Todoroki couldn't get it around his head who this girl was. She was cool yet calm, energetic yet mature.
"Those are very inter-" before he got the chance to finish there were people with flashlight coming into the beach.
y/n smiled in excitement and grabbed Todoroki's hand and hurried out of the water. She grabbed their stuff and made a run for it with Todoroki not far behind.
When they were far enough away from the beach Todoroki offered to dry y/n off. Still catching her breath she agreed and went with it.
A comfortable smile came onto her face as she watched the teen do his work. No one had ever made her feel this way other than her mom.
It felt nice to have someone around who cared.

I have the need to be sooo clear with the readers accessories and thb I'm not sorry. Tell me if you get the reference for the tattoo. Im just living out my tattoo dreams.
