The simple kiss couldn't have lasted for more than five seconds, but it was enough to steal Lauren and Camila's breaths away. Camila's the first one to pull away but she leans her forehead against Lauren's and both of their cheeks are a bright shade of crimson and their quick breaths intermingle with each other in the limited space between their mouths.

"You said no worries and no fears, right?" Camila smiles shyly.

Lauren laughs as she covers her face with her hands, her skin incredibly warm while Camila giggles sweetly, throwing her arms around Lauren's shoulders while Lauren holds her around her waist, their hearts beating against each other's chests.

This is definitely her favorite place in the world now.

——-

Oh my god. I can't believe I actually did that, Camila thinks to herself with her arms still wrapped around Lauren's waist.

She feels her cheeks getting warmer as she brings the tip of her fingers up to her lips, still able Lauren's mouth press ever so lightly against hers. It wasn't anything like those passionate kisses like in the movies, but Camila guarantees that the actors on screen didn't feel the intense feelings that spurred inside of Camila's body as soon as their lips made contact with each other. It was unlike anything that she ever felt before. Everything felt so alive and she felt so much burning desire inside of her and it was all because of one measly touch of the lips. But in that moment, she knew that she didn't ever want to experience any one else's kisses again.

Camila doesn't even know where she found it inside of her to actually do something as bold as that. She's never been one to put herself out there and the fact that she was the one to make the first move makes me feel incredibly good about herself because she's finally going after she wants and Lauren is exactly what she wants.

That girl makes her feel and do some crazy things.

Lauren isn't even practically perfect to Camila anymore. Now she is absolutely perfect to her in every single way. Camila's so infatuated with Lauren and lately they've been spending tons of time together, allowing for that perfection to come out and shine brighter than ever, forcing Camila to fall deeper. It's inevitable with someone like Lauren, but Camila was in no way prepared for how quickly she let herself fall for the beautiful girl she's with right now.

Camila hears Lauren suddenly start to giggle against her shoulder and she mumbles, "dear god. I hope you are not laughing because that sucked."

Lauren pulls herself away to see Camila's still-blushing face. "No. Just about the complete opposite," she smiles shyly.

Camila ducks her head down bashfully as she looks out at the water, taking a moment to collect herself after feeling the most intense emotions she's ever experienced. She fumbles with the sleeves of her shirt and they're still shaking with excitement, adrenaline, and nerves.

"God, I love it here," she hears Lauren sigh to herself. Camila smiles as she turns her neck slightly to find Lauren staring right back at her, her eyes soft and sympathetic, but pupils dilated. She scratches the back of her neck, the way she does when she gets flustered about something. Camila finds it completely endearing to see her acting this way. It probably wasn't the best moment to make a move on her, but she was tired of fighting something she's been wanting for so long now.

"But, uhm, are you feeling better now?" Lauren asks.

Camila nods reassuringly after a couple of seconds. "I am, thank you. I was just feeling particularly upset about it today. I mean we all have bad days, you know, and it was even more difficult last night while I was being consumed by my thoughts alone late at night."
