Wilbur's POV:

I climbed down the staircase, keys in hand. I had just gotten a call from the dentists clinic, where y/n was right now.

"Hey is this Wilbur?" I squinted at the number that i didn't recognize so i nearly hung up until i heard the lady shout "yeah i don't think this one knows Y/n L/n!" I nearly dropped my phone and said "No it's me!" "Alright...?" The nurse sounded a bit suspicious, but told me what was going on. "Uh sir, non of Y/n's other friends seemed to be picking up and we don't trust him to drive himself... you were the last person we could call. Do you mind pick him up?" She sounded tired and done, i was going to seriously consider saying no until i heard a high pitched laugh in the back and someone going "How much longer Moon?!" She sighed and said "If you don't want to i can just take him home myself-" "No i'll do it," i said, pulling a sweater over my head and taking my keys.

I arrived at a fairly small clinic, where a girl with blue dyed hair was holding up y/n. Next to her was an impatient looking woman with brown hair and an unpleasant look on her face which would make anyone think she would be ready to whack them with a broom. "Oh hey," the shorter girl said, shifting y/n slightly to wave. The woman to his side just glared at me, and i steered myself towards the friendlier one. "Want me to help bring her to the car?" She looked up, before y/n started to move and slipping out of her grasp, yelling "WHOA IT'S A BIRD-" "Okie dokie so we're gonna go down that elevator with the birb." The girl grabbed her and lopped her arm over her neck, beckoning me forward. I furrowed my brow and asked "what? thats a doo-" she shushed me and said "he thinks that an elevator to space... just play along." We managed to drag him all the way to my car, before he started giggling uncontrollably and said "oh wow, space smells so fresh! it reminds me of Wilbur... Wait...Wilbur doesn't like me does he?" he started crying and the girl shrugged, motioning me to open the door. I help push him inside and before she could close door, she stuck her foot out and said "Oh wow, Moon you're so pretty, i like your face. Oh, did you know my first boyfriend turned into the moon? he looks just like you!" he started giggling again and Moon pushed her inside, saying "thats rough buddy."( see what i did there😉) "Okay bro, so uh, just make sure your boyfriend doesn't eat anything hard, chewy, hot or spicy, uh, don't let him touch the wounds, remove the gauze surgical pad 30 minutes, and um..." she pulled something out of her bag, it was a bunch of pills. "Give him these if he feels pained, and if he throws up, thats alright. Now go!" She waved goodbye before dashing away through the same doors we had come out of before she could let me rebuke her calling y/n my boyfriend.

"Heyy this would make good blackmail wouldn't it?" I pulled my phone and started to record.

I got into the drivers seat and started up the car, driving slowly before i heard giggling in the back. I didn't say anything and continued driving before hearing him mutter something, before bursting into (terribly loud and grating) song. "oSHIETo OSHiETO Yo soNo ShiKUMI WA-" I groaned, and caught his attention. he turned his head wildly before staring at the window and saying "i think i like him?" I decided to entertain him because this would make good blackmail and said "who's the lucky girl?" Though my heart hurt a little, it would be kinda fun to hear who he liked. "I think his name is Wilb...u...uooo-" I nearly slammed on the brakes in surprise, but the car behind me honked at me to get me to go. "Oh.. is that so?" he snorted and said "y..yeah... he always asks me if i'd love him if he was bald when he's druunk and sen....send...me weird snaps of hhi...m with a beanie.. puling hi..s hairr backkkk-" he laughed again before slumping over, head pressed against the window. "I think i like him?" I felt heat rising to my cheeks, and said "you like me?" "I...wuve you?" he slurred, before finally falling asleep. Finally we got to his house  so i held him up and dragged him up, phone in hand still recording. I fished around my pocket and found the keys to his door. I lifted him up and he clung to me like a koala to a branch. I opened the door to his room and tried to pry him off me, causing me to fall over onto the bed with him and losing his grip a bit. "Don...don't le..leave." I just stared up at the celling, the silence and his breathing slowly lulling me to sleep.

Y/n's POV:

The darkness slowly faded as i opened my eyes, blinded by the light and the ache in my jaw. "You're awake?" i turned over and stared at the blurring figure in my doorway. "W-" I immediately shut my jaw in pain and shut my eyes, before feeling a shoulder on my hand. "Does it hurt?" i nodded my head and clutched my jaw before Wilbur moved over to move my hands from my jaw and held out something in his hand. I took it and he gave me a glass of water, so i swallowed it. "So uh... you said some really weird things and i just wanted to ask...do you really like me?" I felt a heat rising to my cheeks and turned away. "Hey it's okay i-" i shook my head and looked around for something, and found my journal. I picked it up and started writing something into it, showing it to him.

You weren't suppose to find out this way.

He looked down and said "i didn't expect that either... but i'm glad you uh..decided to spill to me?" i nodded and looked down at me hand, my jaw wasn't the only thing hurting now. "I like you too." my heart stopped. I looked up at him and he hugged me. I buried my face in the crook of his neck, smiling slightly. He kissed my head and walked away, before i made a noise of protest. He turned his back to me and said "what was that? why don't you use your words?" i growled slightly and beckoned him closer. "Oh is that what you want?" he smirked and walked closer. I pulled him down and kissed him on the lips. "Oh so thats-" i shushed him and pulled him into cuddles, sitting in the silence and enjoying his warmth.
