"Daddddy." Jace said running towards me.
I laughed and opened my arms so that he could jump in them.
"I missed you big head." I said looking at his slick ponytail. Lul nigga still had them baby edges at 5.
"I miss you too." He said
"Where ya' mama?" I asked.
"Getting ready to go." He said.
"Oh, go get your bags and I'll be back." I said.
He nodded as we part ways. I made my way upstairs and towards to Malorie's bedroom.
I knocked on the door and opened it at the same time to see her standing there in a two piece royal blue dress and some white heels.
"Hey." I said leaning against the door frame.
"Sup?" She said putting on her earrings.
I could already sense the attitude.
"You look nice." I said.
"Thanks." She said turning to put her hair up.
"Where you going?" I asked.
"Nicki's release party." She said.
"Nicki? As in Nicki Minaj?" I asked.
"Hell no." She scoffed. I should've know better since they did fight a couple years ago. I don't even know it would be considered a fight of a beat down.
"Oh, Nicki who?" I asked.
"A new artist I wrote for. Why?" She asked.
"I was just asking." I said.
She rolled her eyes and turned her back to me. "Could you leave."
I walked up and grabbed her arm making her turn towards me.
"Cut it out." I said looking down at her.
"You better get yo' hands off me." She said looking up at me with attitude.
"Man, wassup with this attitude?" I asked.
"Don't you have something else to do? Like hang out with your bestfriend Desigay." She scoffed.
I wanted to laugh, but I was trying to be serious.
"I don't fuck with her like that after the other day. She dirty ma." I said.
"You believed her over me." She said.
"I didn't believe her , I was just asking baby." I said.
"I'm not ya' damn baby August. Why you even still here? Jace's bags been packed so you can go now." She said.
"Look, I know I fucked up . I did some thinking and I wanna' do the couseling thing. If that's what it takes to fix our relationship and get you back, I'm down." I said.
She turned around and looked me dead in the face.
"So now that you wanna fix our relationship, I'm just supposed to be all happy and run to fix it?" She asked.
