Chapter 7

I stood on stage and smirked at the audience. The drums thumped and I danced on stage.

"You can talk the talk

But I can walk the walk."

I did my back handspring and landed into my splits before going doing a back walkover then starting my turns.

And out of nowhere my music began to skip.

For a spilt second I panic, then I calmed down a continue with the dance.

The audience started to clap noticing how I kept on dancing.

Then I did my ending pose.

The audience roared as I exit the stage.

"You we're great." Maddie said once I came back stage.

I didn't know if I should believe her or not.

"Thanks." I smile.

She hugged me before going over to Brooke and Paige.

"You we're like a professional out there." Chloe beamed before enveloping me to a hug.

"Thanks you."

"Nice job with the solos." Abby said after hugging Maddie, but not me.

"Abby don't you think Kendall did a good job?" My mom asked.

I looked at her worried since Abby might yell at us.

"I thought she did fine."

I smile but then she continued.

"If only she apply corrections correctly."

I blinked a couple of time and try to hold back tears that are about to escape.

"Her music starts skipping and your saying she did fine. She didn't forget a single beat."

"She might've not skip a beat but her face looked like she saw a person died in front of her."

And that's when everything went down hill.
