Chapter 1

(Kendall)

I was running through my solo "Walk"

I was surprise I had a solo since I don't really get one.

" You can Talk the Talk."

"But I can Walk the Walk."

I did a back handspring and landed in a split.

I did my La Seconde turns and did a knee drop to the floor .

"That was horrible!" Abby yelled.

I rolled my eyes at her stupid comment.

" You should be happy that I'm doing this for you" I thought.

I left studio B.

I walk through the nasty ALDC carpet that hasn't been clean for years.

I sat down I the dancer den drink my bottle of water.

As the plain liquid squirm through my stomach, I went to the tutor room and did my homework.

"How was you solo Kendall?" Chloe asked.

"It was good" I said.

"Maddie it time for your solo" I said.

"Thanks Kendall" she said and put a fake smile on her face.

I gave her a fake smile back and sat at a seat next to Chloe.

I started studying for my math test for Friday.

"Girls" Gia called.

"Yeah" we all said.

"Time to run over the group dance.''

We all got up and went in to practice the group.

The whole time Abby kept on yelling at me over and over again.

Can she give me a break.

Mackenzie messed up on her side aerial but she still yelled at me.

Once we were done we all went home.

"Mom why is she treating me like this." I said

"Because your not on top. Everybody get to be treated with respect but you don't. It's her way of say I don't care" My mom said.

Once we pulled up to our driveway I ran Inside the house and went to my room.

I cried on my baby blue comforter .

I pull my face up and look at the darker blue I created with my tears.

I changed in my pajamas and climbed into bed.

"Maybe tomorrow will be better" I whisper.

"Maybe tomorrow I will be on top."
