"What? I'm not allowed to hug my siblings?" Susan shouted back, before kissing Peter on the cheek and bending down to spin Lucy around.

We all stood there in shocked silence.

Percy's POV:

Susan's their sister? I didn't know there was a fourth Pevessie.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by a thud as Lucy landed on the ground, beaming from ear to ear. By now, Edmund had been released by the Hunters, and was approaching slowly, his face clearly showing that he didn't want to end up on the ground. Unfortunately for him, Susan noticed him soon enough.

"You." She growled. He stopped short, hesitancy and fear flickering in his eyes.

"Who, me?" He chuckled nervously.

When she lunged toward him, my hand darted for Riptide, but there was no need. Edmund shrieked in surprise as she tackled him in a bear hug. When they parted, they were both laughing. Ah, sibling bonding. How fun.

Alas, the fun was cut short by Annabeth, who had remained calm, cool, composed, and collected the entire time. (Did you see the C's?)

"Okay, as heartwarming as this all is, we still need to get ready and be on our guard. No offense, but the arrival of the Hunters doesn't mean an automatic defeat of Kronos and the White Witch."

"Hey! I take offense to that!" Thalia called, jokingly.

Annabeth shot an amused look at Thalia, before turning and resuming the trek to the Throne Room. Awkwardly, everyone else followed, including the Hunters, at Thalia's command.

By the time we were all in the Throne Room, the awkwardness had disappeared, and the Hunters were chatting with the demigods and the Pevessies.

I twirled Riptide between my fingers as I waited for Annabeth to say something, but when I locked eyes with her, her face indicated that she expected me to say something. No way, I'm not speaking up!

Engaged in our staring contest, Annabeth and I only belatedly noticed that the large, heavy doors had slammed shut, throwing the room into shadows, with barely any light.

Annabeth looked away first. Yeah, I won!

My triumph, however, slipped away when a burst of fire lit up the room.

Quickly, the Hunters formed a tight-knit circle, their bows up and facing out, as the demigods and Pevessies formed a wider circle around them, their weapons poised to attack.

There was a small scuffle as Peter and Edmund tried to get Lucy to go behind them, where she would be safer, but a daggered threat ended it. Smirking, Lucy resumed her position in the outer circle.

Suddenly, an Iris message appeared, but it was very hazy. "Percy?" Grover bleated. "Percy, are you there?"

"I'm here," I responded, raising my voice a little bit. He didn't seem to notice.

"Percy? Can you hear me? P-p-p-erc-"

Grover's voice started crackling and lagging, and without warning, the IM disappeared.

The demigods shifted uneasily. IMs weren't supposed to lag out. Either it connected, or it didn't.

Now, the only source of light was from the skylight, where thin beams of sunlight trickled down. I uncapped Riptide, and raised the blade to catch a beam of light, tilting the sword as it reflected the light onto the wall on the other side. Carefully, to not lose the light, I moved the sword back and forth, scanning the wall for anything.

Noticing me, the other sword and dagger-wielding people raised theirs as well, turning the blades to catch and reflect light. After several long minutes of silence and dancing lights, Jason's voice cut through the air.

"Hey, there's a weird moth thing over here."

I shone my light in Jason's direction, nearly blinding him, before noticing where his light was pointed at. Resting on the stone wall was a stone moth. A sharp gasp echoed in the room. Lucy had noticed it too.

"Hello there, children." A sugary voice rang through the air. We turned, lowering our weapons back to fighting positions.

The White Witch was sitting on Peter's throne.
