Tommy’s POV: As I walked over the carpeted floor, The slow and steady rocking told me that the boat was moving. I could hear the soft splash of the waves and the crashing tides against the hull of the ship. The open ocean and the rocking were going to make Tommy seasick. He slowly found his way up the rickety stairs, which he hoped lead up to the main deck. He realized that this wasn’t the pirate ship he was on before. The floor wasn't as disgusting and rotting. Everything around the ship looked newer and well taken care of. As he reached the top, He smiled and couldn’t help himself and run out to breathe in the fresh ocean air and fill his lungs. He ran and looked over the side, taking in the view of the endless blue ocean for miles and miles. “Hey kid, Be careful not to wander too close to the bow. You’ll fall right over and into the water. These waters are rougher than what you’re used to.” I whipped around and looked back to see a tall male with fluffy brown hair looking at me with a weird wood instrument slung over his shoulders. He had these dark brown eyes and a bright smile. He walked up to me and shook my hand. “Hey there! I’m Wilbur!” He had an off feeling about him. I was very unsure about this place though he seemed polite enough. “Oh... Hello, m- my name’s Tommy..” I said, my eyes finding my way to the floor after remembering all that happened to me on the other ship.

(le third person POV) Wilbur saw it. He knew right away That Tommy had been through so much during his time on the other pirate ship. He smiled as Tommy started to look around warily. Wilbur noticed the dark marks and the open and partially crusted over wounds and scars. Tommy walked back downstairs slowly after looking around the deck a little more. “Well? How’s the boy?” Wilbur jumped as the voice of Philza came from nowhere. “We were right to feed those rats to Techno... They did terrible things to that boy.” The silence was defening.
