It was about to be moon and mother still hasn't arrived since she left from the event last night.
I was currently sitting on the living room couch anxiously scrolling by channels, until I wait for mom's arrival.
I hear the front door open, mother stood their with droopy exhausted eyes and a looked so tensed.
"Is everything okay? You didn't come home last night, I was worried, You left in such a hurry?" I say with such concern in my tone.
She makes her way to sit next to me, and slumps her body on the couch. "Your father is in the hospital"
"What! Why didn't you text or call me" I unintentionally raise my voice.
"I didn't want to worry you while you were at the event" She responded.
"Mom, that is not important, My family is, I was wondering were dad was, I thought he stayed at work doing a overnight shift. You should've texted me or something"
