Calamity of Reality

The room was made of a reflective black material, along with the chairs and table. The operator spoke first, "I'll give you a briefing of what you're going to see later on. Basically, our sources say that the Calamity of Reality is none other than someone named Bryan, who comes from another school called Nanyang. I assume you know him?"

"He's still alive? I thought he died to Zach?" Keith asked with surprise.

"By a member of Johnson's gang? Well yes, and because of that, we're deduced it down to the fact that he comes from another timeline."

"Isn't that obvious from the power he wields? Like, its a spiritual humanoid instead of something like a Dark fire or an Electric circle behind him?"

"We needed extra clarification. Anyways, the moment you arrive at Cambridge, make sure to not engage him directly. His power is strong enough to erase missiles and mechs out of existence, so you might need something long-ranged, like a laser gun."

John took up his laser gun, and said, "Each bullet of the WM-MK2 goes at Mach 3, quick enough to vaporize paper in an instant."

"Good. What about your other weaponry?"

"A white knife. It goes around wherever I want it to." Sakuya said.

"A sword made of Fire, Water and Electric. That's it." Keith said.

"That's a little more primitive, but we'll leave that fact alone. Based on our research on the target, he has a kill count of over 2 million, yes, 2 million alone with the combined efforts of an unknown person, demolished an entire city, and can knock a person straight from Spain to Japan with his power alone."

"That's a lot of damage. Surely he could've been arrested already?" Sakuya said.

"Surprisingly, he was never handcuffed. Not to mention he's only a 13 year old."

"Sounds just like Bryan." Keith said. "When are we going to arrive, anyways?"

"Now."

The moment the operator said that word, the room was now in the middle of a ruined city. Everyone got out, and looked around. Most of the buildings were either demolished or erased, and a lone boy stood against a ruined building, preparing to eliminate it from reality.

"The Fitzwilliam Museum!"

With a single touch, the museum was erased, and he said, "The what museum?"

"He's as dangerous as they told us. Any support?" Keith asked.

"Mechs have been dispatched and will assist you within 5 minutes. You'll have to hold out until then."

"Alright. Thanks."

He ran towards Bryan, and the moment he approached, Bryan stared at him with unforgiving eyes. Those eyes suddenly disappeared, and he said, "Keith? Since when were you here?"

"Bryan, you may think you know me, but you've arrived in another world. This is not the world you know. Your world has these spiritual fighters, this world..."

He took out his sword, his eyes starting to become a little saddened, and said, "has elemental powers."

Bryan took out Hopes In Hell, and said, "Well I'll kill you either way. I've finished my task back at Nanyang, and I'll destroy you next!"

He charged straight in, but a knife cut him off. Sakuya had thrown it, and John splashed him with water which he immediately turned to ice. Bryan's movements were slowed down a little, but he only touched it and it disappeared in an instant.

"So this is the power of the Calamity of Reality. Ready up, boys!" Keith shouted.

As Bryan charged up a punch, Keith punched the floor to get some dirt on his hands, and countered his punch. His hand hurt a little, but the dirt was erased from existence. He kicked him away before backflipping a meter, and took out a few knives. Bryan then teleported behind Sakuya, but before he could land a punch, she used Golden Travel, an ability she learnt while she was in a realm between the world and the abyss thanks to being killed by James, and turned herself into golden clouds as she swiftly flew few meters away.

John didn't miss this chance and fired a shot at Bryan. He blocked it, but it was able to damage his arm by a little bit. Keith noticed, and said, "John, charge it up. Sir, you got any extra laser energy stuff?"

"I can request for it, but it'll take about 15 minutes to arrive. Oh, here are the mechs."

The sound of numerous machines landing filled the air as Bryan looked around. "These guys again... I'LL TAKE ON ALL OF YOU!"

Just as Bryan was about to erase everything within a 20-kilometer radius, Keith stepped in and blocked it with his sword. It disappeared in an instant, and he punched Bryan in the face, sending him back. "My weapon may be gone, but that was just a secondary." he said.

He took out numerous knives from his pocket, and said, "You wish to have a fight?"

Bryan wiped the blood off his mouth, and said, "Hell yes I do."

He then barraged every knife Keith threw at him. Sakuya chucked in another knife, but Bryan took note and swiped his hand in the air to erase it. Keith ran out of knives, and dodged a punch by ducking to the left before delivering his counterattack, sending him back multiple meters away. John finished charging his laser gun, and pointed it at him, before shouting, "Say goodbye, motherf***er!"

The shot fired vaporized everything within 5 meters of it in an instant, but once the smoke cleared, Bryan was still standing, although half-injured. HIs hands were purple, as if they were harshly wounded, and he said, "Impressive."

Keith approached, and took out a knife. Sakuya did the same, and John followed with his gun. The mechs approached from behind, and Bryan said,

"You've made a huge mistake coming here to fight me. Sooner or later, your world will end up in flames, and there will be no more hope for it. As I speak, 3 other Calamities have started rampaging across the entire world, and they all reside in different directions of the world. If you want to kill me, think again. I can't be killed. You can harm me all you like, you can s*** on me all you like, but after I heal, I will kill you."

"Bryan, I'll be honest here, I want to kill you right here and now. However, you remind me of a friend who passed, and I don't want to live that memory again. So..."

He pointed his knife at him, and said, "As long as you don't hurt my friends, I won't mark you as a target."

Bryan smiled, and said, "Be it today, or be it later, I'll make you regret those words."

He disappeared into a pocket dimension he created, and Keith said, "Be careful. He could come straight at us at any moment." The operator ran up to them, covering himself in Electric, just as a portal swallowed up a mech, followed by another. The moment every mech disappeared from sight, Bryan's voice could be heard, "That's all for now. Good luck in dealing with the upcoming calamity I will bring later."

His presence disappeared, and Keith said, "This will not end well. At the very least, we've dealt with him, so what else is there to do other than taking care of the other Calamities?"

"I'd love to let you take a rest, but the next Calamity we have to deal with is the one in the east." the operator said.

"So, what exactly is this Calamity?"

"The Calamity of Matter, something we call the Glitching Matrix. Its in Yokohama, Japan, at this moment, and you'll have to go there alone. Don't worry, we've prepared a few planes which are easy to pilot - that is, if you know the controls and the direction you're supposed to go."

The operator pointed to a few planes, and said, "Alright, I have to go. Good luck on your journey, kids."

He walked into the room which disappeared in an instant, and Keith said, "Welp, looks like we're gonna have to learn to pilot a plane now."
