In the small town of Bellwood. A seventeen year old boy sat in a tree. He had brown messy hair with green eyes. The boy was lost in thought as he looked down the street.

Bellwood was as boring and normal as you could think off. The last time anything happened was a car theft last week. Even that was around 20 seconds long. Ben honestly couldn't wait for the summer holiday, where he, his sister and Grandpa would go on a road trip across the states. Away from the boringness and his school bullies.

"Hey Ben!" A girl called out. Looking down he spotted his sister looking at him. Her lighter brown hair done in a pony tail and her green eyes - much like his - sparking with mischief. As always.

"What?" Ben shouted back.

"Does the forecast say about any weather warnings?" She asked him, her voice somehow sounding innocent. Which automatically sent alarm bells ringing.

"No, you know it's forecast - HEY!" The boy yelled as a bucket of water drenched him. He jumped down the tree and quickly chased after his sister. "JENNIFER TENNYON! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

He watched as Jen put her phone in her pocket as he grabbed her and quickly put her in a headlock. "Give me the phone!" Ben growled.

"Never!" Jen laughed as she kept her hand on her shorts pocket.

The two teens struggled for a few more minutes, when the unmistakeable voice of their Grandfather was heard.

"BENJAMIN AND JENNIFER TENNYON! WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING! BEN, GET INSIDE AND DRY YOURSELF UP!" Their Grandpa Max yelled.

The twins instantly let go of eachother and glared at one another. "Seriously? Jen started it?" Ben argued.

"I don't care, put some dry clothes on." Max told him. He knew he would had to have a talk with his Granddaughter about her powers.

"Oh man." Ben said as he walked into the house, followed by his sister. Who had a cheeky smile, which quickly left as her Grandpa put his hand on her shoulder.

"Not so fast, young lady. We need to talk. Your brother will want to hear it." The older man told the teen.

"Yes Grandpa." Jen replied, looking glum.

Stupid Jen. Ben thought as he dried himself and put his dried clothes on. He looked around his room and smiled at the childhood memories. As far as he could remember, he and Jen had lived his Grandpa Max. Neither twin knew anything about thier parents. It was as if their Mom and Dad didn't exist.

He looked at a picture of a ten year old version of him and Jen. In the picture, his sister's hands were glowing blue. It had been the first time it had happened and they never knew why. Their Grandpa had told them that he would explain it all, when they were old enough to understand.

He seem left his room and deposited the towel in the bathroom and arriving in the living room a minute later. Where he saw his sister and Grandpa Max sitting.

"Umm, why do I feel like something bad has happened?" Ben asked. Max gestured for his Grandson to sit. He couldn't help but smile at how much the two had grown. Along with how much they had matured. Even though they could still be very childish.

"I think it's time, for me to tell you kids the truth." He told the confused teens.

"What?" Jen asked.

"Jennifer, Ben. Your Grandmother, is - was an Anodite." Max told them. At first they looked suprised, before Ben spoke up.

"You are joking, right?" He asked. When he got no answer, he looked down. "You're not joking, are you?"
