You ran across the road, baseball bat in hand, backpack swinging from your back, and your white bandana flying in the wind. It's been 4 years since you saw your boyfriend, and about 4 years since the zombie apocalypse started. You celebrated Nick's birthday every year by going to the local convenience store and taking candles. You sang happy birthday and cried a bit, wondering if he was out there doing the same for your birthday.

It was all so sudden, the apocalypse. One moment, you were hanging out with a bunch of Nick's friends, all YouTubers, and the next, you were fighting for your life. Nick told you to run. And run you did. You didn't even know if he made it out alive, but still after all the years, you kept looking for him.

It was actually your birthday today.. Exactly 4 years from when the apocalypse started. Worst birthday present ever, am I right? You snorted, laughing a bit even about how dumb that was. Losing the only people that ever loved you and basically most of the world on your birthday. But sometimes, life isn't fair. You walked down the road, jogging up to a store. You walked in, hoping to find something sweet to eat but to no avail there was nothing.

You really hoped that after the 4 years of being in a real life video game, that you at least would find people. But most people died off or became zombies in the world. You wouldn't be surprised if Nick was still kicking it though. He was tough and so were all his friends. Clay, Gogy, George, Tommy, Tubbo, Phil and his wife, Dave, Darryl, Zak, Harvey, Alex, Charles (grian if anyone didn't know), Wilbur, Sam, Jess, Jason, Karl, Alastair, Niki, Jordan, Oliver, Fleur, Jonathon, and even Vincent all were together, (LMAO WHY TF DID I ADD SO MANY, Oh wait its cause i didn't want them to all die off, nvm) hanging out with Nick and you for your birthday as a surprise because you knew them as well. Everything was perfect, until they made the announcement about the virus. (nOt tHe fUdGiNg cOrOnAvIrUs)

All hell broke loose after that. You heard people yelling outside, and you guys all froze. Clay was the first to move, telling everyone to get inside. But a zombie broke through the door and you all scattered. Nick told you to run and so you ran. You ran and ran and ran and ran until your legs couldn't run anymore. You looked behind you, hoping that at least some people would have followed you, but no one was around. Nick was gone, and just like that, your life became a living hell.

You wished you could go back in time, savor the memories you guys had together. You really missed them, and to be honest, you were getting a little emotional. But it's the zombie apocalypse. There's no time to get emotional. You walked out of the store, moon shining on your face, and saw a flash of movement. "Zombies are too stupid to move fast.." You told yourself. You looked around more and out of the corner of your eye you saw another flash of movement.

You looked over to the side and saw it. A dog. It sort of looked like Rat. "Lucy?" You asked and she ran over. "LUCY!!!" You screamed. You had tears in your eyes. If Lucy was alive, then Darryl and the others still might be. You looked around but could find anyone. "Lucy, do you know where Bad is? Where Skeppy is too?" You saw her jumping around and bark. All of a sudden, about 8 zombies came out of nowhere.

You grabbed your baseball bat and hit one, knocking it out. You ran over to the next one and took out your knife. You stabbed it and hit the one coming up behind you with the bat in your other hand. The ones at a distance, you shot with a silenced pistol. Rat jumped up on your leg and you smiled at her. You put the pistol away and you started walking.

You picked up Rat and she started licking your face. You giggled and then set out walking again. You soon set her down and she ran in a certain direction. You smiled, thinking about being able to see Bad again. Your bandana across your forehead flew in the wind as you jogged with Lucy. You soon heard noises. They were groaning noises and you realized that they were zombies.

You ran past them only to hear talking quietly. "Who's that and why is Lucy with them?" "Lucy's acting pretty friendly around them.." You saw your best friends and your eyes lit up. "ZAK!! DARRYL!!!" You yelled, basically attracting all the zombies in your area to you. You looked over and saw that you were being surrounded.

You started whacking the baseball bat around and you eventually got rid of them. You ran up to them and hugged them. "Who's there and how do you know us? And why do you have Nick's bandana?" "Zak.. It's me.." He looked at you and you looked back sadly. "It's been 4 years, but do you really not recognize me?" He looked at you and his eyes widened. "Y/n?.." You smiled.

Darryl ran up and hugged you. Tears streamed down both of your cheeks and Zak ran up and hugged you too. You were all crying and embracing each other. "How'd you find us you muffin?" "Lucy found me! I just started following her till I found you!" You smiled.

Zak grabbed your hand. "Nick's going to be so excited that your here! You know, he never stopped looking for you." "I never stopped looking for him either." Zak smiled and dragged you to what seemed like a make-shift camp. Darryl ran into a tent. Nick emerged, looking sad and depressed. He had bags under his eyes but he was still alive.

Tears filled your eyes again. "NICK!!" His eyes widened and he looked over and saw you. He burst out laughing, crying himself and ran towards you. All the commotion caused everyone else to leave their tents, and they all saw you. Nick kissed you passionately and you kissed back, happy he was alive.

"I never stopped looking.." "Neither did I.." You said. He smiled and backed away for everyone else to hug you. You hugged them all back and you giggled. "This is the best birthday present ever.." Nick smiled and kissed you again. You smiled and you all went to celebrate your birthday.
