It's dark out and Callie and Collin are sleeping in the bed while me and luke are in our sleeping bags I start to kick him
"Luke" I whisper "Luke wake up" he says a groggy hello before seemingly coming to his senses
"Hey what time is it?"
"1:30, are you awake" his gaze meets mine
"I am now"
"umm can you uhhh meet me in the other room please" I can barely get the words out I feel so embarrassed for some reason but the our eyes meet and I flush.
"Am I making you flustered johnson?"
"you see Davis" I say my tone cold "This is part of the reason I don't like you"
"Ahh don't be coy with me we both know no matter how much you wish it was that's simply untrue." he looks assure of himself and It's kinda turn on. then his voice becomes serious "let's go" and we head to the guest bedroom this time I lock the door and he pulls me In and his lips meet mine we fall on the bed in a mess of limbs and we're kissing then he pulls away
"Ummmm hey can you uhhh do that thing you did earlier" he asks me and I wonder what he's talking about then it clicks and I grab his neck and start kissing him more, then I trail the kisses down his neck and keep going lower and lower "What are you doing" he says in a mocking tone
"I'm returning the favor" I say grinning up at him then my mouth mets him and I start to suck "how's that" I say looking at him
"go....oo..d please don't stop never stop" and I keep sucking he moans out and It's really hot I keep going harder and he keeps making eye contact.
"Mmmm ohhhh ahhhhh yes yes Shelby ahhh shel... shhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhh" he finishes and I swallow I make my way back up to him and grab his collar and pull him in for a kiss then I whisper in his ear
"Am I making you flustered Davis" he looks at me his eyes glinting
"Yes, yes you are more than you will ever know". and with that he pins me on the bed and starts to kiss me and starts to go lower.
"hey as much as I'd love that right now and trust me I really would they could wake up at any moment we should probably head back" I say wishing I could shut up and curl into his arms for the rest of the night I kiss him one last time and lucky for us they were still sleeping when we got back we go into our sleeping bags and pretend like nothing happened
Later I wake up in a hot sweat crying because of one of my nightmares I've been getting them on and off since I was a kid so I'm kinda used to it once the blurriness goes away I see Luke looking at me with genuine concern
"Are you okay?" he asks me looking sad
"yeah I'm fine I get them all the time" then he wraps me up in his arms and carries me out of the room into the guest room.
"So here's the plan were gonna sleep in here because I want you to fall asleep in my arms they're gonna wake up at and like 9:00 we wake up at 8:30 grab Collin's keys go to the diner pick up breakfast for everyone get back here bickering about how one of us got the order wrong and no one will suspect a thing" I look at him mockingly
"So your gonna commit grand theft auto just so you can cuddle with a girl you hate?"
"I don't hate you I never have and I never will." his words are genuine which is surprises me because yeah of course he does.
"that's bullshit and you know it" I say confused
"fine" he says "believe what you want to believe" then he wraps his arms around me and I fall into a peaceful sleep when I wake I feel his face burrowed into my neck I grab my phone 8:22 close enough
"Luke wake up we gotta go" he wakes up gives me a kiss and we get out of bed then we make our way to the kitchen and grab Collins keys from the table and get into the car and head towards the dinner
"Okay so I know Callie's order and you know Collin's so we have that covered"
"Yup I still don't understand how a 16 year old wants to get chocolate chip pancakes" he looks at me quizzically
"I don't know maybe he thinks they taste good."
"he also gets a smiley face with whip cream" and at that I start laughing
"Hey do you remember how this whole thing between us started happening". I ask
"yeah we were in detention all alone I was pissed off because you were looking beautiful and I was too chicken to go do anything about in you walked over and asked if I wanted to stop fighting once a week and I was hooked"
"You see It sounds almost romantic when you say it"
"well it was quite the romantic situation"
