It's raining. I am staring out the window, listening how the raindrops hit the roof.
It has been three days since we moved here, and I still couldn't close my eyes for a second. Many things haven't been unpacked, I had a lot of other things to do than just sitting here. But I don't know why, I just needed this. A quiet moment alone, away from the other humans.

"Lola! What are you doing up there? Get down! I need your help!"

There it is, my mother is calling me. I really don't want to get down there and deal with the packages, and.... my mom.

I went down the stairs. My mother was in the living room, putting a bunch of little decorations on the fireplace.

"Yes mom, what do you need help with."

"What were you doing up there? What took you so long! Go unpack the boxes in the kitchen while I fix the living room. GO!"

I went to the kitchen, it is still kinda messy, there was a few boxes left to unpack. I found a pair of scissors on the table.

My mother wasn't actually always grumpy and mad like this, after she and my father split, a year ago, it became worse. At first, I was fighting back, trying to talk some sense into her. But after a while, I realized, she would never change. Why should I waste my time arguing with her?

After packing I went upstairs again, I told my mom I was preparing for school. Oh yes, the high school. We moved to town Silva, where my mother grew up, then she went to college and met my father. I just started high school, I was in a middle school in the city before. Well, I had some friends back then.

I didn't need to prepare for school, I was ready, I had my bag, my uniform, and that's all. So I started staring out the window again.

After diner, the rain stoped. I decided to go for a walk around the town, to get to know this place. And, to get rid of my mom.......

It's beautiful, the aura was cold and fresh, it smells like the rain. The sky was red and orange. There was some hills behind the houses in our neighborhood, the sun was going down slowly, it's light covered up the sky. All this was so quiet, so peaceful. I was just walking, and enjoying this moment.

Suddenly, I see an odd mansion, I couldn't calI it a house. It doesn't quite fit in the neighborhood with the other houses. It was big, old and kinda dusty, I guess. It has  But it has a wonderful garden, it was full of flowers, sunflowers, lilies, small cottage pinks! And... what do I smell?

I recognized this soft, delicate, elegant fragrance that brings you to feel slightly dizzy.

It's lavender.
