"Lola WHERE have you been, and who's that boy you walked home with, you're fifteen you're too young to have a boyfriend!!!" My mom shouted at me, I stood silently there,

"Answer my questions RIGHT NOW."
I am so angry, can't she mind her own business? That evil witch, just because she's having a bad time doesn't mean that she needs to scream it out all on me!

"I was just talking a stroll, I fell and that boy helped me."

My mother looked doubted, can't she just let it go...

She glanced at me one last time, with wrinkling eyebrows.

"Just clean this mess up."

And finally, let me go. I ran up to my room.

My tears that were keeping in my eyes have finally been released.

Aaah, I felt so much better after that cry. I suddenly remembered that I had school tomorrow. I walk up to my mirror and looked at myself in it. A tall girl with messy, long dark brown hair. My eyes were all red and swollen, I needed a shower.

I went into the bathroom, took off my clothes, and started to put cold water on the wounds. The water splashes all the blood away, then I make the water got and took a long bath.

After that, I dry my hair and washed my face with warm water. I looked much better now.

I went back to my room and locked the door. Put on some pajamas and brushed my hair. Now is time for some "meditate". So I basically just stared out the windows till midnight and think about all that just happened to me this evening.

I got a little tired, that new. I couldn't sleep for days before. So I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

"Bi bi bi bi, bi bi bi bi..."

I woke up the next morning because of the alarm and didn't remember when I fell asleep. I sat up on the bed, looking out the window, it was sunny outside today. Well, it's time to get ready. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. My eyes were still a bit swollen though.

I decided to just go with a dark green sweater and a black skirt, it's still early spring so I wore long socks with black and grey stripes on.

I went downstairs to the kitchen and saw my mother sitting there.

"Good morning," I said quietly.

She didn't answer me, she was still mad because I came home late last night, and because I was with a boy. She left for her interview at the jewelry store immediately after I came. Didn't even asks if I needed a lift.

She drank coffee, but I was hungry. So I made some bacon and egg. After that, I knew that I m gonna miss the school bus if I don't hurry up, so I quickly take my backpack and run out of the house.

The sun has raised in the sky, I quickly ran to the bus station, the bus wasn't even here yet, in fact, I see no one in close sight.

Too early, or too late? I didn't know what else to do than sit there on the bench. Then, I saw him again, he was riding his white bike, running late, just like me.

"Hey!" I stood up quickly, he stopped, turned around, and saw me.

"Hi!" He said with a bright smile, he is certainly in a good mood, maybe because of the weather?

"Missed the bus? Hop on!"

I blushed, "Thank you! But do we go to the same school?"

"Yes! There's only one middle school in town."

I ran to him, hopped on the bicycle, he immediately started to ride.

"You're a lifesaver." I expressed.

He giggled, the beautiful sound made me smile.

The spring wind blows softly through my hair, it tickles my ear. I recognized the lavender scent.

I looked on my watch with my other hand holding on to the back of the bike. It was 7:58, we are totally going to be late. That's when he unexpectedly braked for a sudden red light, and I hit my face on his back hard.

"Sorry"

"Sorry"

We said at the same time, I laugh lightly, he too. Then, he grabbed my hands and put them around his waist. He looked back at me with those blue-purple eyes. He was blushing, so was I.

Then, he looked back,

"We're going to be so late, " He started riding again.

We finally arrived, the school was big, it looks ancient but extremely pretty.

That's when I remembered, I didn't know his name yet. But I didn't know how to begin with,

"I have a question..."

"Yes?"

"What's your name?"

He giggled again, it was loud and bright.

"You go first."

I stopped, for a second.

"Lola."

"From Laura?"

"No, just Lola. Now's your turn."

"Gilford, Gilford Sorrel."
