Sofia the First: The Princess Who Cried Wolf

Attention Please

At Enchancia Castle, Miranda and Roland helped Sofia into her bedroom. Violet came in to see what was wrong.

"Princess Sofia, how did this happen?" she asked.

"Dancing at the hootenanny, Violet," said James. "Sofia sprained her ankle when her foot fell through the dance floor at the hootenanny."

"Oh, the poor thing," said Violet.

Miranda, Roland, Amber, and James thought it would be best if they left Sofia alone. But Sofia felt all alone without anybody to keep her company.

"It looks like someone needs a little company," said Violet.

Sofia felt a little happy that she had somebody by her side.

"Would you like to read a few books, m'lady?" Violet asked.

"Okay," said Sofia. Violet pulled out some of Sofia's favorite books, and they both started reading together.

Later, Prince Hugo dropped in at the castle, so he could see Sofia.

"Prince Hugo, what brings you here?" Baileywick asked.

"I came to see Princess Sofia," said Hugo.

"Alright," said Baileywick.

In Sofia's bedroom, Sofia was reading one of her favorite books when Baileywick came in. "Princess Sofia, Prince Hugo has come to see you," he said.

"Okay, send him in, Baileywick," said Sofia.

Hugo came into Sofia's room to see her. "Hey, Sofia, how are you feeling?" he asked.

"A little alone," said Sofia.

"It seems like you need a little company," said Hugo, taking Sofia by the hand. "I'm really sorry about your injury."

"Thanks, Hugo," said Sofia. "I'm sorry the hootenanny had to be cancelled because I broke the dance floor." Hugo felt very bad for Sofia.

Meanwhile, Amber was strolling out of her bedroom and past Sofia's when she heard her little sister giggling. She felt curious about what was going on, so she peeked into Sofia's bedroom. Violet was playing This Little Piggy with Sofia, and she carefully tickled the little princess's toes, and Hugo tickled her tummy. Sofia giggled in delight, making Violet and Hugo laugh. Amber started to feel a little jealous of how much fun Sofia was having despite her injury. She was pretty jealous of all the attention Sofia was getting.

"My big brother always loves making me feel better this way whenever I get hurt," giggled Hugo.

Sofia really seemed to enjoy herself, and Amber was really jealous of all the attention her little sister was getting.

Amber left Sofia's bedroom when she crossed paths with James. "James, have you noticed that Sofia has been getting a lot of attention?" she asked.

"It really looks that way, Amber," said James. "Violet is reading her a few stories, and Hugo is keeping her company."

"Well, I think it would really be fun to have that much attention," said Amber jealously. She really wished she could've been hurt at the hootenanny, so she could have as much attention as Sofia is having.

Just then, the twins heard more giggling coming from Sofia's bedroom. "Stop it," giggled Sofia. "That tickles!"

The twins peeked in their little sister's bedroom, and they saw Hugo playing This Little Piggy with her and tickling her toes. Sofia was laughing harder and louder, and it made Violet and Hugo laugh too. James couldn't help but smile as he heard his little sister giggle, but Amber was feeling jealous of all the fun Sofia was having.

That night, Violet helped Sofia put on her nightgown and crawl into bed. She even offered to sleep with the little princess that night.

"James, can you believe that Sofia has been getting so much attention all day?" Amber asked jealously.

"What do you expect, Amber?" James asked. "She's hurt herself, and she needs somebody to be there for her."

Amber knew that James was right-Sofia was getting a lot of attention because she was hurt and needed friends to keep her company.
