"Okay, I got the tickets ready, let's go!" Brian yells from the living room.

The old movie theater down the street shows old releases every Sunday during the Summer. Brian's been very anxious to go, and when he saw that Contact was playing tonight, he couldn't resist not going.

"Do we have to? We have the movie on dvd and you bought it on demand last week." You whine back.

"This is different, it's in theaters! You don't have to come, but I'd love it if you did."

You roll your eyes and walk from the hallway to him, giving him a kiss. "How could I ever say no to you?" Your eyes meet and he gives a small smile.

"Are you ready? I don't want to miss the previews, babe." He grabs your car keys and purse of the hook, holding both.

"All the trailers will probably be old."

"That's the best part." He looks back at you and shrugs, inching closer to the door.

You walk back to the bedroom to spray perfume and touch up your makeup.

"Babe, come onnnn!" He says, halfway out the door with a pout.

"Just a second!" You fix your hair and walk out the door, locking it behind.

As you head to the car, you hold hands, and when you get in the car, he places his hand on your thigh. You're driving, like usual, he hates driving.

There isn't many people at the theater when you arrive, so you get in line for popcorn before the movie. Brian makes walks ahead of you, excited for the movie. He's so cute when he's excited.

You get settled into your seats as the previews play. The both of you munch on the popcorn while waiting. Once the movie finally starts, you rest your head on his shoulder next to you. His hand wraps around your side, pulling you closer. You rest your hand on his thigh and give a slight squeeze, but there's something hard stopping you.

You lift your head and look at him with furrowed brows. "What the fuck? We're in public!" You whisper to him in confusion.

He rolls his eyes and pulls out a small plastic bag of candy he snuck in. "Get your mind out of the gutter." He taps on your head and tosses the bag on your lap.

You put your head back down and quietly say, "I hate you."

"I know you do, kukla." He kisses your forehead and returns his attention to the film, enjoying every second.
