Do you want to come over and watch the new episode with me? <
Win checked the text message, then flipped his phone over. He still wasn't sure how to respond to Bright's confession. He had feelings for Bright...and Bright had feelings for him to?
He couldn't believe it and he was still angry at Bright's childish display of jealousy. Then again, he hadn't behaved very well when he found out Bright had a fuck buddy somewhere in Bangkok. He'd let Bright believe he had feelings for someone else...which had lead to the jealousy...
He also knew he was holding onto his anger as an excuse not to actually move forward with whatever would happen between them. What would it look like to actually date a guy?
He flirted with the idea a few years ago, but the person he'd liked had gotten into a relationship pretty quickly, so he'd let the idea go and a cute girl had caught his attention next.
Now Bright. And he'd realized his attraction hadn't just been a passing thing. He liked men just as much as he did women. Was Bright the same way?
The fact he'd been jealous enough to cause a scene was a pretty good indication that he was.
But he'd said he wasn't ready to date.
Win sighed and finally responded to Bright's text.
>Maybe next week's episode. We've got a few lives coming up so I want to keep my energy for those. Plus my sister has an idea about a dessert business now that my popularity is growing. She wants to talk through it with me.
Too much information?
He debated pressing send, then finally did so. If Bright was really interested in him, he'd need to get used to learning more about him and his family. They were important to him. Bright had already brought him into his family life, maybe it was time he did the same.
What kind of desserts? < Bright asked.
Win settled into the lounge chair, his sister's dog hopping onto his lap and settling into a little ball. She looked cute.
Win smiled, knowing how much Bright liked animals since he always stopped to pet one or chat about one when they were out and about. He snapped a picture and sent it to Bright.
Doggie desserts? <
He laughed.
> Macarons. I just thought you'd think Charlotte was cute.
She is, but you're cuter. <
Win blushed.
Can you send me a picture of you? < Bright asked.
> You know I hate taking selfies.
But I want to see you and you refuse to face time. Or come over. <
Win bit his lip and looked around in case one of his family members might be roaming about and catch him being completely embarrassing over a crush. He combed his fingers through his hair, wondered if he should take off his glasses, then glanced down at the t-shirt he was wearing. It was a little old so the collar looked flimsy around his neck. Maybe Bright wouldn't notice.
What's taking so long? < Bright asked.
"Ugh!"
Win snapped a quick picture and sent it without looking. His eyes were closed...
~
"Please shut up about it," Win complained. They were getting ready for their live stream and Bright wouldn't leave him alone about the stupid photo he'd sent.
