That night, Darci didn't sleep. She looked up at the ocean of bright stars. This calmed her overthinking mind some, but not as much as Darci hoped it would. Darci began to think back to when she and her brothers were kids. They played day and night in a meadow near Void. They would chase one another throughout the meadow and Void. How she missed them. Darci knew what she had to do. She got the danburite crystal and called for her friend. "Reyla, if you can hear this please know that I'm sorry, and I shouldn't have yelled at you. I was angry and sad, and you had only wanted to help me. I let my emotions get the best of me. I'm begging you to show yourself." Darci pleaded. After what felt like forever, the stone began to glow and Reyla's fox form appeared. "I'm sorry Reyla," Darci said. "I forgive you, but now we have to make a plan to deal with Wes," Reyla said with determination. "We could try to master my flames, and since he was your friend you might know his weaknesses. Don't you?" Darci asked. "I don't know, it's been a long time since we were friends. But, he can't cast more than one spell at a time." Reyla said, unsure if it was still true. "Okay, so if you attack him from behind, while I use my flames we could defeat Wes once and for all. What do you say?" Darci told Reyla her plan. Reyla had her doubts but she said," If it will stop the hunting of mythical creatures, then yes I agree."
