I hum gently putting away my diary from when I first transferred into this class. 

it has been 4 months since those days, and it is still storming.

news reports have come in for the past 2 months are so that is tied to a destructive quirk... and I think i know who is behind it all. 

unfortunately, the school has figured out ways to get us to class safely instead of keeping us here at the dorm. 

right now i just finished studying for our English test that takes place in a little under an hour... i should probably get to school, shouldn't I? 

Well I guess I'm not eating breakfast today.. again. 

I grab my bag and straighten my school clothing against myself before walking out of my room and into the hallway. 

i glide down the stairs with ease as it has been my routine for a while now to just skip the stairs and jump on the handrail. 

I spot shoji at the end of the hallway reading the english textbook.

I bump into him slightly to get his attention 

he looks down at me confused. 

"Dude we are going to be late." I laugh and continue walking 

...why do i actually feel uncomfortable about an English test even though its my first language?

I stare seeing no more umbrellas. 

really? you asshats took them all? 

i guess this is what i get for being so late to get out of the dorm today 

i open the door to see the familiar dark blue pouring rain skys.

the rain has lead to many problems here in japan, tons of flooding mostly. 

I walk along the covered pathway to get to the school from the dorms

I'm bored... how about some music? 

i flick open my headphone's case and put in an earbud. 

Looking around before i pull out my phone i pull out my phone and turn on the 'Wings' album.

my feet drag themselves in a medium speed walk while humming along to the song. 

I close my eyes and continue on the covered path 

ah, the rain is so peaceful, but with music damn this hits different 

"spread spread spread my wings~ and fly ly ly ly ly~ fly ly ly ly ly~" 

I feel someone bump into me and my eyes shoot open

I look over to see Jiro looking at me. 

"Morning Valk." she hums 

I pause my music "Good morning Jiro." 

Jiro laughs "Why are you leaving the dorm this late? or did you run back and grab something?" 

"Oh i was studying for the English test." i laugh in reply. 

Jiro's eyes light up in horror "I'm so screwed if the native English speaker had to study for this test, i completely forgot last night to study." 

how does one completely forget to study when its all anyone around here has been talking about for the past week?

jiro looks down "welp i guess i will just try my best, See you in homeroom!" 

she runs along the covered path to school. 

i shrug and unpause my music going back to the song i was enjoying. 

i skillfully weave between students who are all walking much too slowly for my liking. 

Why must students walk so slowly even though they are going to miss a class?

I look up seeing that this is where the cover ends. 

I laugh seeing everyone open their umbrellas. 

I jump into the rain and shadow jump across to the next covered entrance to the school.

See! that's how you do it without getting wet boys and girls. 

I slide my way through the crowd of students in the doors.

turning down the first hallway i make my way up the stairs and slide open the door to class 2-a like i am not arriving only 5 minutes before class starts. 

Ochaco looks up from her stance of chatting with Midoriya. 

"Valkyrie I thought you were going to be late! we were thinking about running back to the dorms to get you!" 

I smile softling and wave my hands in front of my self "Oh sorry to make you worry! i was just studying for the English test." 

Kirishima sighs, "if the half american among us is having trouble we are all screwed."

I laugh at the comment and slide into my seat.

Shoto turns around raising an eyebrow "Wow that's the slowest you have gotten to homeroom from the dorms all year." 

I roll my eyes "are you keeping track now weirdo?" i laugh 

this kid- i swear its nice to have friends 

He shrugs and turns back around "And if i am?" 

WHAT? 

I lean forward "Then you will regret it." 

I lean back in my chair snickering while shoto tries his best to keep himself looking like he is indifferent to my statements.

I am so going to fucking fail this English test.

:D :D I HOPE I DIDNT CONFUSE YOU GUYS TOO MUCH- ahEM the chapters up until now have all be Valkyrie remembering or reading what she wrote in her diary~ now we are pretty much caught up to where she is in her actual life C: 

4 months at school~ 

we will learn more about everyone's relationships as they stand now with Valk soon and what is going on will be explained. 

-leans back in chair snacking on popcorn with a smirk- i know whats coming he he he he he~
