its not a lie. i do feel like one, and someone with my quirks might as well be one
the boy looks off into the distance before turning back to me
"if you don't mind me asking.. why?" he sounds careful with his word choices
"not being able to actually help people, im useless every single time i end up hurting or losing the people i love" i puffed out
"and don't try to tell me that's not true, because its my first day and your the idiot who wants to be friends with me, it's not a good idea" i shot a glare at him
he laughs "i came out here because i can't deal with the pros i brought an umbrella because i saw you where out here and figured someone had to tell you the truth and be at least a little friendly, because on behalf of this class everyone is confused on why we got a new student, and everyone has their friend groups, so i figured you needed a friend too because everyone here has been bombarding you with questions and invading your space all day, so if your telling me to go back inside,im going to decline that offer."
maybe i could at least give it a little try..?
the umbrella suddenly breaks as the rain pours harder
we both have a surprised look on our face
the rain pelting me made me feel happy and i'm not sure why, his surprised face makes the whole situation so much better
laughter erupted from my lips
"you should see your face right now its hilarious!" i managed to get out in between laughs
his face lifted upwards into a small smile then he began to laugh too
"why the fuck did the umbrella break like that?!" he laughs
"it dumped the water all over us" the rain was still pelting both of us
we spent a good 20 minutes laughing before we were finally able to get a grip on the situation
i roll on my back and stare at the rain as it hits my body "it actually feels nice"
todoroki nods "i agree with you"
someone is so gonna find out asses out here and we are gonna yelled at or some shit
i laughed at the thought
i hear him speak again "your not cold?"
nope not at all how does he think im cold from this?
"nope" i reply
"fair enough i'm not either" he replies
both of us go silent as we lay on the patio in the pouring rain
"hey i will try being your friend, but know im terrible at being a good friend" i speak
he remains silent
i quiet back down
is he just not going to say anything?
he talks finally "i'm not very good at being a 'normal' friend either, so dont worry and i'm sorry if i come off as cold i'm just not great with emotions"
cold? he does not seem like that..?
i may be mistaken it is only my first day here.
the silence clouds over both of us again leaving only the pouring rain as the sound we could hear
a few minute later the sliding door suddenly slams open
both of us jump up in surprise and concern
there stood a hero i had never seen, he has red wings and blonde hair along with yellow glasses
he looks just as surprised to see us as we are to see him.
he laughs and closes the door "sorry if i scared you two i'm Hawks!" he smiled
both me and the red and white hair boy look at each other and then bow at Hawks
Hawks laughs "no need to bow i'm leaving i did not realise there where students out here."
the door slams open again to reveal a muscular man with red hair and a scar going down his face *sorry to my non-manga readers you will find out why in the next season on MHA*
the man looks at Hawks then at both of us as i see Todoroki's figure turn from a relaxed one to a tense and pissed one
Hawks looks at Todoroki then back at the man with the red hair and laughs before speaking "im gonna get out of here while i still can, good luck with that!" he flies off
the man with the red hair, the more i look at him shares features with Todoroki... wait a minute.
