"Aether wake up! We're going to be late!"
"5 more minutes, Lumine."
"Get up or I'm leaving you here."
"Fine by me."

Lumine groaned in frustration. She woke up early to get ready for their first day of high school, well in their new school atleast. Its already the third semester when they transferred to Teyvat high. They came from another town and when their dad got a job offer in Teyvat, they had to move here.

"Aether get up please. We have to help Paimon get ready too." Paimon was their little sister and was in elementary school. "Fine fine, just let me stretch first and... get ready.." Lumine rolled her eyes. She knew that "stretch" was just more nap time for Aether. "Go take a bath now!" Aether groaned and got up, "sleep is important for growing boys you know..." he mumbled as he went to the bathroom.

"Big sister Lumine!! Big brother Aether!! Mom said breakfast is readyyy!! We have yummy pancakes for breakfast yey!!!" Paimon yelled from the hallway. Lumine laughed, she knew Paimon would be awake just in time for breakfast. "I hope Mom dressed her up already so that we have less work."

"Paimon's going to make so many friends at school today!" Paimon exclaimed. The twins laughed at their little sister. They went pass the gates of their new school and are now walking Paimon to her class. "Paimon will behave in school, right?" "She has to, or else her classmates will eat her up!" "I am not food, big brother Aether!"

Lumine just laughed. She liked this sight, the sight of her siblings just teasing each other and laughing. She loves her siblings so much, especially Aether since he is her twin. She can't imagine herself not being with him.

"We're here Paimon! Now be a good girl, okay?" "Paimon will be a good girl! Promise! Bye big sister Lumine and big brother Aether!" The little one said, smiling and waving at the twins as they waved back. As soon as they were sure Paimon was going to be alright, they headed off to their classroom.

"Are you sure Paimon will be alright?" "Lumine she's 7 years ol-" "Still she's still a child!" Aether sighed. "Stop babying Paimon too much, she can survive on her own, food-wise atleast." Lumine giggled, she knew Aether was right. "Anyways, lets find our classroom. We have a few minutes left to spare so let's go!" "Woah, someone's awfully excited. Almost as if you didn't sleep in the bath-"

"Hey there, girlie! You new here? Want me to show you around?" A ginger male came to view. "Oh- uhm- yes! WE'RE new here." Lumine says, pulling Aether near her. "Hi." Aether says sheepishly. "Ooo cool! I'd love to show you both around! Oh, where are my manners, Tartaglia of the Student Council. I'm the Vice-President and a third year here in Teyvat High. Nice to meet you!" Tartaglia extends his arm, Aether accepts, stopping Lumine halfway. Of course, Aether did this due to kindness. He didn't notice the small face of amusement on Tartaglia. "Hey! I'm Aether and she's Lumine, my twin sister! Nice to meet you too!!" Aether smiles. "Follow me then, first years! I'll lead you both to your classrooms and I'll show you around during break." "Sounds good!"

"This is your classroom. I'll come back later to show you around the school. A friend of mine might tag-along, so that's a heads up. See you later then, Lumine and Aether." Childe says as he walked away, but stopped mid-way. "Oh right." He goes inside the classroom and, "Students of Class Monsdtadt!" All the students looked at him.

"Oooo its vice-president Tartaglia!"
"He's so handsome!!"
"Goodmorning vice-president Tartaglia!!"
the girls squealed.

Tartaglia chuckled, "Good morning, girlies." He winked, making the girls squeal even more. "You have new classmates starting today. Come inside, Lumine and Aether." The twins shuffled inside, Lumine looking around curiously while Aether just looked down at the floor, too shy to look at the other students. "Introduce yourselves, leave a good impression." Tartaglia whispers to them. "Hey! I'm Lumine! And this is my twin-brother Aether!" Lumine pulled Aether close to her, making him half trip. "H-hi." Aether smiled.

Lumine giggled a bit. She thought Aether looked cute acting all shy. "He isn't the shy type once you get to know him. He's just a bit awkward during the first few weeks." "You didn't have to tell them that, Lumine..." Aether mumbled. Tartaglia chuckled. "I am expecting you all to treat them well. If I hear any bullying, you best expect I'm telling the president. Later then!" Tartaglia then leaves the classroom.

Hm? Is the president scary? Lumine thought.

"Hey! I'm Amber! You're the new guys right? Want me to show you around later?" The black-haired girl named Amber said as she approached the twins. "Hey! Its alright, don't worry! Tartaglia already told us he'd show us around." "Oh cool! Hey Aether!" "O-oh Hey, Amber was it? Nice to meet you." Aether smiled. "Nice to meet you too! I'm the class president! If you ever need help, don't hesitate to come to me!" The twins nodded.

"Okay Class, take your seats. Oh, Lumine and Aether, you have already arrived. I'm guessing you have already introduced yourselves so let's start our class. I am Ms. Jean, your homeroom and math teacher."

And so class started.

Author's Note:

Hey hey hey!! First chapter done, WOO. This is my first time writing a fanfic and its an alternate universe uhm- anyways. I thought of this while arguing with my sister on what club the genshin impact characters would join.

Okay firstly, this would focus more on Aether because I chose him hehehe attack me 💘 (don't).

Second, I will incorporate some parts of the original storyline but not all. I will try to include all of the currently released characters (even Baizhu bc I love him so much).

Third, this WILL include gay ships! Like female x female and male x male. If you are uncomfortable with that then please stop reading !! And if I there is a ship here that you don't ship, please refrain from commenting it. We have different opinions on different things. Oh, and there will be no KaeLuc in this story.

Fourth, this might involve violence and foul language. And as far as I know, I currently am not planning on adding smut to this story. Mainly because I have never wrote smut yet and they are teenagers here in my AU. If I ever do, then I will put a warning on the top of the chapter.

And lastly, English is not my first language. I can't even speak my first language well so do expect grammar and word errors. If you see any misused words or problems with my grammar, please don't hesitate to comment about it.

Also, if there is anything you are confused about, don't hesitate to ask in the comments! I am a Filipino so I will be making the school similar as to where I go to. Example, we have 4 years of high school and 2 years of senior high school. I am used to that setting so I will make this story revolve around that. I do not know how the high schools are in China or in Japan so this will be easier for me.
