The rest of the twins' morning classes went smoothly. Their new teachers, Mr. Baizhu and Ms. Lisa, were really nice and was fun in classes. Ms. Lisa made all the boys' pay good attention to the class. Literally, she was scary in Aether's opinion.

The twins are now making their way to the cafateria to meet Diluc and Kaeya, they agreed to have lunch together after all. "I wonder who we'll meet this time?" Lumine said smiling. "Maybe you'd find someone your type, Aether." She laughs, Aether just pouts, something he does subconsciously. "Lumine, its our first day. Lets not think about that..." Lumine just laughs at Aether. She loves teasing him. Its the highlight of her day to see Aether pout because of her.

They arrived at the cafateria shortly after. It was swarmed with students. Some that they recognize, since they were their classmates. The twins looked around to see if they can see the brothers, easily seen because of their hair. "Hey, I think I see Kaeya!" Aether exclaims, grabbing Lumine. "Aether wai-"

"Hey, Kaeya!" Aether approaches a boy. What he failed to notice is that, this wasn't Kaeya's shade of blue nor was it the right length. "Kaeya? Who, me? I'm afraid you have mistaken me for somebody else, my liege." The boy replied smiling. Aether blushes.

Hehe oops, he thought.

"I'm sorry. I thought you were Kaeya.." Aether says to the boy. "No worries. I too mistake people from time to time. Not my little Yun-yun though." "Xingqiu, I told you to stop calling me that.." Yun-yun, a light-blue haired male next to Xingqiu, groaned. "Yes yes, Yun-yun-" Yun-yun groaned again, "- anyway, you two are new faces. New students, I assume?" The twins nodded. "I'm Aether and this is my twin sister Lumine." Lumine waved at Xingqiu. "I'm Xingqiu! And this is Chongyun, my bestfriend." Chongyun nods at the twins. "Anyways, if you're looking for Kaeya, he and his friends usually sit over there. Oh there he is. Tell him I said hi." The twins thank him and head towards Kaeya.

"Yo! Twins over here!" Kaeya calls out to them as he sees them. The twins make their way toward the table Kaeya, along with a few others, were sitting on. Lumine, being the girl she is, scans the table to see anyone she recognizes. Her eyes lands on Diluc and she smiles at him. Diluc wasn't expecting her to do that so just nodded and looked at Aether.

"Hey Kaeya! Hey Diluc!" Aether says smiling. In Kaeya and Diluc's POV, Aether looked like a ray of sunshine.  "Hi." Kaeya and Diluc say simultaneously. Kaeya of course, saying it in a energetic way matching Aether's energy while Diluc, being the way he is, says it in monotone. Diluc offered the twins seats next to him and a female they don't recognize. Aether takes the seat next to Diluc.

"Hey! I'm Lumine." Lumine says as she takes the seat next to the female. "Oh hey. Name's Rosaria." Rosaria, a tall girl with short maroon hair, replies to Lumine. "You kids new here?" Lumine nodded. "Sweet. New people mean new people to hang out with." Rosaria says.

They proceeded into eating their lunch. Kaeya and Rosaria buying food from the cafateria staff first, leaving the twins to Diluc. "So how are you finding Teyvat High?" Diluc asks the twins. "Its cool! The teachers and students here are nice." Aether said, smiling. "I'm glad. I heard from Tartaglia that you're considering joining the student council?" Aether nodded. "Let's ask mom later if she approves." Lumine tells Aether.

Diluc looks at Lumine, well, studies her is more appropriate. He can already tell that Aether is a ball of sunshine. Someone you just want to protect ( 🥺🤲 ). Basically, a soft boy. Lumine on the other hand, he can't tell what type of person she is. They may be twins, but there are twins who are the complete opposites in attitudes.

"Diluc? Is there something on my face?"

Diluc was brought back to his senses when Lumine called for him. "Apologies, I just think you're attractive." What. That's exactly what Kaeya would say... Diluc thought. Lumine blushes and thanks Diluc, looking everywhere but his face. Diluc smiles at how she acts. Cute, he thought.

Aether just watched their interaction and laughs softly.  Lumine glares at Aether while Diluc raised his eyebrow at him. "Nothing, nothing." He smiles at Diluc. He really is precious.

"Hey hey! Let's eat now, hm?" Kaeya and Rosaria arrived back at the table. They then ate, having small chats in-between. "Aether here mistook someone for you, Kaeya." Lumine laughs. "Lumine!!" Aether pouts at her for the nth time this day. Kaeya laughs at Aether's reaction, "really, Aether? Who did you mistake me for?" "X-Xingqiu.." Aether whispers, loud enough for them to hear. "Xingqiu, huh? What part of him is like me, little Aether?" "The shade of your hair..." Aether was embarrassed. He didn't want to seem like a fool to them, especially since they just met. "Our hair? Hm, I guess there's some resemblance. But honestly, Xingqiu? That pipsqueak? He's no where as near my beauty-"

"Kaeya you're scaring the kid." Rosaria says. Aether shakes his head. "N-no I'm not! I'm just embarrassed!! That's all!" Aether's basically flushing at this point. Lumine laughs, her twin brother's face the same shade as a Jueyun chili. Diluc softly chuckles. Kaeya approaches Aether and wraps his arm around his neck. "Apologies, Aether. Didn't mean to scare you." He says smiling. Okay, Aether is now a flustered mess. I mean, can you blame him? "N-no worries.." Aether whispers. Kaeya smirks at his reactions.

Hmm? Interesting.. Kaeya thought.

"Anyways, lets all finish eating so that we can talk more without any pauses, hmm?" "Oh, Xingqiu says hi!" "Really? I'll go talk to him later." And with that, they ate quietly. A few minutes later, they finish and they are just talking about random things waiting for the bell to ring when Albedo approaches the table.

"Diluc? Ms. Jean wants to see you. Its about the upcoming festival." Diluc sighs. "Sorry to leave so soon." He says to the twins. The twins reassure him its alright and he leaves with Albedo. "Wait, Albedo, hold up!" Kaeya calls out. He grabs a piece of paper from his bag and scribbles something on it. He then gives it to Albedo, whispering something in his ear making Albedo blush a bit. He goes back to the table afterwards.

"And what was that?" Rosaria asks. "Another crush?" she adds, making Kaeya chuckle. "Crush? My, I just wanted to get close to Albedo. No harm in that, hm?" He replies. "Whatever you say, Kaeya." They resume whatever conversation they had before Albedo arrived.

"Oh hey, what festival was Albedo talking about?" Lumine asks. "Its the Windblume festival. Teyvat High celebrates a lot of festivals. Every month or so. This time, its the Windblume Festival. Class Mondstadt usually is the one that prepares the festival. We're from Class Mondsdadt so we help out. Mostly Diluc though since he's the class President." Rosaria asks. "What do you do during the festival?" Aether asks, a look of curiousity shown on his face. Aether loves joining activities. May it be dancing or something art related. Singing is another story though...

"Hmm, let me think. Oh! We hold competitions!" Kaeya exclaims. Hearing the word 'competition' excited the twins. They loved competing with each other. "There are four competitions: archery, collecting ballons, playing the lyre and survival of the fittest!" "Survival of the fittest?" Aether asks, tilting his head a bit. "Its just mini games like don't step on the line, avoid the balloons, that type." Rosaria answers. Aether just nods.

They continue talking about the upcoming festival until the bell rings and they go back to their classrooms. They all agreed to have lunch again some other time and said goodbyes. The twins enter the classroom to prepare for their afternoon classes. They were excited to meet the other teachers. But they heard from their classmates that Mr. Zhongli's class is boring and easy to sleep to.

Oh well, they were right I guess, Aether thinks as he sees Lumine sleep a bit in their history class.

And thats how their first day at Teyvat High went.
