A week has passed by since they transferred to Teyvat High. They absolutely love it here. They made so many new friends. Aether becoming best friends with Razor and Bennett despite only knowing each other for the past week and Lumine becoming close with the females of the class. Often gossiping about crushes and common interests. As for Paimon...

"Paimon made so many friends! Paimon's close with Qiqi, Klee and Diona! " She says proudly at the breakfast. The twins just nod and smile at how happy Paimon is. "Looks like we didn't have to worry about you, huh Paimon?" Aether jokes. "Paimon's a big girl! I can handle myself!" She defends herself. "Oh really then? Can big girl Paimon sleep on her own later?" Lumine teases. Paimon had a nightmare the night before and went to the twins' bedroom to cuddle. "W-what?! I can definitely sleep on my own! I just want my big brother and sister to be next to me.." Paimon mumbles. The twins laugh at their little sister.

"I'm happy you're not having a hard time fitting in, Paimon. Now eat faster or else we'll be late for school. You too, Aether." Lumine tells the two. "We're walking to school, right? Mom and Dad already left for work..." Aether mumbles. Lumine just smiles. She knows just how much Aether loves spending time with their parents. Their job makes them be absent from home frequently. Often missing birthdays and special occasions. Of course, the twins are used to it and they try to go to all of Paimon's events to support her, as substitutes of their busy parents.

"Yes, we're walking so hurry up, you two! You still have to pack your bags!"

"Yeah I really liked her new album!" Bennett exclaimed. "I heard she's a student, just like us! And, there's rumors that she goes to Teyvat High! How cool is that?" He, Aether and Razor are currently talking about a famous singer called Ignium. "Razor wants to meet her! Along with the blue pigtailed girl!" Razor was referring to another singer, Deaconess. She wears a mask at performances to hide her face. "I wonder what she looks like under that mask? She's probably beautiful under that. I mean, her voice is so angelic!" Aether says.

The boys continue talking about their favorite singers while the girls talk about something else. "Hey Lumine, any chance Aether's into music?" Barbara asks. "He is, actually. He loves listening to Deaconess and Ignium! And some other artists I know nothing about..." Lumine mumbles the last part. "Can he sing? Or play any instruments?" Amber chimes in. "Hm, he knows how to play the guitar! He can kind of sing, I guess. He rarely sings so I can't really answer that." Lumine replies. She remembered Aether usually sings when he's really happy. Like, when he got a new video game as a gift and when his day has been going well.

"Okay class, settle down. We'll start today's lesson."

"Mr. Zhongli is so handsome!" Squealed Amber. "I know right! He's so dreamy!" "Let's not forget about Mr. Baizhu!" "Yeah! Him too!" The girls giggled.

"Aren't they our teachers?" Bennett asks, with a confused face. They are on their way to the cafateria since it's recess time."Why are they talking about them like that?" Aether just laughed at Bennett's reaction. "They just think their attractive, I'd honestly do the same about someone I think is attractive." "Hm? Who would that be, Aether?" "Razor's curious too!" The duo ganged up on Aether, excited to know who the blonde is about to mention. "E-eh? That's a hard question! I haven't met everyone here yet. Of course, there are a lot of attractive people here. I can't just say any-" OOF. Aether bumped into somebody else.

"Tsk." He hears the other person. "Watch it." He says. "I'm sorry!" Aether squeaked out. Regaining his balance, he got a good look at the male he bumped into. Same height as him, with dark black hair dyed turqouse at the end. Is it even the end? More like behind it all. Wait, they're allowed to dye their hair here?

"Xiao be kind!" His friend scolds him. He's similar to Xiao, he just braided his dyed hair. "Hello, first year! Are you one of the new kids we hear?" (A/N, that was a poor rhyme omg im sorry), Aether nods. "Venti is my name and singing is my game!" Xiao tsked at how Venti introduced himself. "And this young man is Xiao. Don't be surprised if you hear him growl, you're lucky enough to hear a sound!" Venti announced in a sing-song way.

"Uhm, nice to meet you! I'm Aether." Aether introduced himself smiling. "Nice to meet you too, strange one! Say, you don't look like you're from here. Where are you from?" Venti dropped the rhymes and talked normally this time. "Oh, uhm. Somewhere far.." Aether laughs a bit. "Hmm is that so? I won't pry on you any longer, for now I have to subdue my hunger. Toodles! Come on Xiao!" Venti then drags Xiao with him as they disappear into the hallway.

"Aether, you alright? Xiao didn't say or do anything mean right?" Bennett asks worriedly. Aether shook his head, "no! He didnt even speak much. Venti did most of the taking." He chuckled. "Can't believe you bumped into THE Xiao! I'd be scared for my life!" Bennett exclaims. Aether gives him a confused look. "Xiao is the Student Council President. Everyone here fears him, Razor too! Well, except for that rhyming guy." Razor explains.

The Student Council President is him? Now I know why people fear him. Wait, speaking of the student council...

"Oh! I'm so supposed to ask Tartaglia about the representative role. Can you guys accompany me to him?" Aether asks the two. The two nodded and accompanied Aether towards the student council room, hoping to see Tartaglia. When they arrived they saw Ninnguang, Fischl and another girl with light blue hair.

"Hello again, Aether." Ningguang greets him. "This is Ganyu, our secretary." Ganyu smiles at Aether. "Hello! Uhm, may I ask if Tartaglia is here?" Aether then entered the room while Razor and Bennett waited outside, arguing about which snack is better in the canteen. "I'm afraid. We have not seen Tartaglia prance in her since break time commenced." Fisch says. How she uses complex words on a daily basis, Aether would never know.

"I think I saw him earlier looking for Mr. Zhongli. You should go check his classroom." Ganyu says. Ningguang choked on her drink, which made Ganyu worry and repeatedly asked if she is alright. "I'm fine, Ganyu. Is this urgent, Aether?" Aether shook his face, "not really. I was just going to ask if the grade year representative role eas already taken. He told me to go to him if I was interested." Aether says smiling. "Oh about that. No one has the role so if you're joining, you're in." Ningguang says. Aether said his goodbyes before exiting the room.

"I'll go look for Tartaglia. You guys go ahead to the canteen without me, I'll catch up in a bit." And with that the three parted ways for a bit. Aether then went to the direction of Mr. Zhongli's classroom to look for Tartaglia. When he arrived outside it, he opened the door.

He did not expect to see that.

He opened the door to see Mr. Zhongli and Tartaglia kissing.

The two backed away from from each other, well more
like shove the other away from them, when they heard Aether enter, a look of complete shock on their face. In Tartaglia at least, Mr. Zhongli regained his composure a minute after. "Do you need anything, Aether?" Zhongli asked calmly. "Uhm, n-nevermind! I'll ask later!" And with that, Aether hurried out of the classroom and went to the canteen.

"He saw us." Zhongli states. "Yeah, no kidding." Tartaglia replied with sarcasm. "I doubt he'll tell anyone. But just in case, keep an eye on him. Is that clear, Ajax?" Zhongli asks Tartaglia. Tartaglia chuckles, "sir yes sir."
