"Y/n, you have a call." Lindsey waited for the H/c haired girl to move, to get the phone, or to at least look at the blonde. And without looking away from her screen the girl grabbed the phone.
"Yes? 'ello?" She put her fingers pressing them against the bridge of her nose, stressed from the work she's been doing for the past 21 hours. Definitely ready for sleep, but refusing knowing work needs to get done.
"Is this Y/n Anderson?" A man asking another question.
"Yes. It is." She replied flatly. Not really wanting to have a call right now. She could hear someone shift the phone and heard a soft 'What?' on the other end.
"Who is this?" She waited for a moment before she heard the man respond again.
"Uhm... I work for Mr. Osterfield." The name Osterfield triggered something in the girls memory causing her to hang up immediately with shock, and hatred.
The phone rang again, giving her a small jump. She thought hard about what to do. Pick it up, or let it ring. She chose the second option, not wanting anything to do with him. Lindsey on the other hand watched in confusion. Wondering what the girl was thinking. It rang a third time causing Lindsey to run to the phone to catch the call. Y/n giving her sister a death glare, basically telling her to hang up at this instant. The blonde didn't listen and spoke.
"Yes, sorry... Oh right I'm Lindsey... Uhm. She had to do- something very important- and told me to take this. Er- What is needed sir?" The H/c haired girl could see Lindsey mentally face palming.
"Y-You need her?... A job?... What kind?..." They waited a little longer while Y/n is shaking her head violently trying to grab the phone.
"Yes, I will tell her. Thank you... Your place at 3 tommorow? Well she busy then but she can do 5... Good! See you there!" Lindsey hung up, giving the boss a dumbfounded look.
"What... What was that?!" She yelled waving her hands around. Y/n took a deep breath in and held it for a few seconds and let it out, trying to feel more relaxed, but still having a hard time.
"When I hang up on someone!" She yelled frustrated and confused. "You don't pick it up!" She slammed her hand on the desk while standing up, getting closer to her sister.
"Why?! Why would you hang up on them?!" Lindsey was starting to get on Y/n's nerves more and more. So she didn't answer.
"Who is Osterfield to you?!" The girl looked at Lindsey with wide eyes.
"That is none of your business! Get out of my office!" She said with a low growl. Causing the blonde to exit mad and still confused.
The other side of the call was almost just as shocked as the girl he called the first time.
"She sounded so familiar..." The boy giving a sigh and couldn't put his finger on who she was, and why she reminded him of someone.
A/n!!!
Yay! So, this is kinda family friendly! No cussing, and no dirty scenes. Just some violence here and there. Thank you for reading the prologue! Just getting started!
