This isn't my first fanfic but it's my first on Wattpad so I'm feline a bit out of my comfort zone, but, if it says "M/POV" that's Marinette's point of view, "C/POV" Cats point of view, and "R/POV" that's like the third person! R/POV Marinette woke up to her alarm and Tikki's head butting her face gently, Marinette had set an alarm for an hour earlier than she normally did so that way she would be on time for once. "Ugh" she groaned pulling a pillow over her head and reaching out for the alarm. "Marinette! It's time to get up, you told your mom you would eat breakfast with her this morning!" Tikki's voice softly cooed from the other side of the pillow. Marinette took the pillow off her head and smiled up at her Kawami, before noticing the window of the trap door behind her. "Tikki! It's raining?!" she squeaked jumping out of bed, "it appears to be" Tikki giggled. Marinette scrambled across the room getting ready, she started in her closet putting on a light pink button-up pencil skirt with a white tank top bodysuit underneath. She quickly pulled a gray cardigan over her shoulders and put on some white knee-high socks and some heeled booties.

Then she walked over to the mirror and pulled her hair back into its signature pigtails, but curled the two pieces framing her face. She turned around to look at Tikki, "Well? How do I look?" She did a small spin flattening her skirt, Tikki smiled "beautiful as always!". The girls giggled and walked into Marinette's bathroom, she brushed her teeth then put on some mascara and chapstick. Lastly, putting on a small silver necklace as the finishing touch, smiling at Tikki in the mirror.
M/POV I looked over at my phone and proudly held it up for Tikki to see "Wow we are super early!" She smiled. I loved seeing Tikki happy, it was always so cute! "Yeah just in time for breakfast with mom!" I said, pulling my little pink purse over my shoulders, I opened it and Tikki flew in still smiling, I put my phone and lipgloss in there with her, then smiled before shutting it. I walked down the stairs to see my mom pulling hot scones out of the oven. "Best perk of having parents who own a bakery!" I said sitting down at the island of the kitchen. My mom laughed and handed me a hot scone on a plate with some berries. I took a few berries and a small corner of the stone and slipped them into my purse for Tikki. I and my mom chatted over breakfast before my alarm went off signaling I had to leave for school, I handed my mom my plate and kissed her on the cheek, "see you after school sweetheart!" She waved, "bye mom" I called back grabbing an umbrella and opening it as the door closed behind me. Lucky the rain wasn't too bad, and even luckier, I had Adriens umbrella! As I turned the corner around the bakery I saw my dad waving, he had to open the bakery that morning so he couldn't eat breakfast with us but he would never let me leave without saying bye. I waved back through the window. I held my umbrella tightly when a cool breeze came by, making me happy I wore knee-high socks. Time skip (she just got to school) I walked up the steps to see Alya and Nino chatting at the top waiting for Adrien. As I got under the shelter of the school I closed the umbrella and walked up to my friends. "Good morning!" I smiled waving a hand to the couple, "GIRL!" Alya began excitedly, "Nino just got a text from Adrien, his dad is on a business trip to New York, so some of his lessons were canceled and his schedule is cleared up!" she beamed. I laughed, I still liked Adrien but it was not nearly as bad as it used to be and I no longer spent all my time trying to find ways to spend time with him. It was still funny seeing Alya get excited at a chance to get us together. Adriens/pov My driver pulled up just in time for me to hear Marinette and Alya giggling about something, I had forgotten my jacket so I used my arm to shield myself from the sprinkling rain. Apparently, Marinette saw me struggling and walked down tbs steps to hold her umbrella over me... Wait, no, MY umbrella over me. It was the one I gave her the day we met, I had a few so there was no need to ask for it back, in fact, Marinette had offered it back to me once before but I was in a rush to get to a photoshoot that day so I just told her to go keep it. I realized I had been silent the whole time, I needed a way to break the ice "nice umbrella, some awesome guy give it to you?" I asked giving her a little nudge with my elbow. She giggled, and a light pink spread over her cheeks and nose. Oh, that giggle... It was like an angel had kissed my ears... Oh, I never noticed how much I liked her giggle. A blush of my own spread over my cheeks and nose and I zoned out on her sweet scent, she smelled like strawberry pound cake, the scent me and Alya picked out for her when the four of us went to the mall about a week ago. "A-Adrien?" She asked worriedly snapping me out of my daze, "uh what? Sorry, I zoned out" why was I dazing out about Marinette's giggle and the way she smells. She laughed again and I realized that we had reached the top of the stairs. Nino put his hand on my shoulder, "none of us said anything dude, YOU did" a wave of panic attacked my body, was I saying l that out loud?! I had to figure it out "uh I'm sorry what did I say?" I tried to sound smooth but a crack came through, I looked up at Marinette, a blush spread over her face again and I just knew she heard the voice crack. Alya's voice pulled my eyes from Marinette as she spoke "you were just kind of mumbling about the mall and something about strawberries" oh no, how was I gonna get out of this. "Sorry, I'm tired, I had strawberries for breakfast, and uh, I was gonna ask... Uh, if the four of us can go to the mall tomorrow! YEAH" I said the last part a little too loud but thank the lucky stars the five minutes bell rang. We all started to wall inside "The mall sounds great!" Alya started, Nino held the door to the classroom open for all of us "yeah great idea dude" he said as Alya passed him giving a little boop on his nose. I didn't reply I simply turned to Marinette "ladies first" I smiled stepping to the side for her. She jumped back before realizing what I had said "ohhhh haha" she laughed then did a little courtesy playing along with me "why thank you kind sir" she stiffled a laugh before walking into the classroom. Time skip to after school R/POV Adriens car arrived early and he waved goodbye to his friends before getting in. Marinette waited for Alya and Nino to start walking home together before she began her journey going in the opposite direction. Around the same time she reached the bakery, Adrien had reached his room and sat down on his bed. "Why did I get all... awkward around her?" he asked Plagg. The little black cat looked up from his cheese "oh jeez i have no clue, this is the most difficult mystery I've ever been faced with" he said in a sarcastic tone. "Oh don't patronize me! If it's so easy for you to see just tell me" Adrien said as he flopped back on his bed. "Kid you have a crush" Plagg said in a monotone voice before stuffing his face with more cheese, Adrien shot up "I- Uh- WHAT!? No no no Marinette is just a friend!" he waved his hand in the air as if to shoo off the idea. He walked over to his desk to pull out his homework. Plagg doesn't know anything! Marinette is just a good friend, just because she is the nicest person I know and her laugh makes me feel like I'm flying and she smells like the perfume I picked out for her and that made my stomach feel like it had butterflys and my heart jump to my throat, she is just- oh... OH... Adriens eyes got wide at that past thought "oh"
