Caught in the aftermath

A/N: I JUST WANNA SAY IT NOW DEPENDING ON WHERE I GO WITH THIS STORY...IT MAY GET A LITTLE DIRTY!! but there won't be any sin or smut... In this chapter 😏 ANYWAY, adrien called mari a friend in the car after getting so close he could have kissed her but whatever!!

M/POV:
"I DON'T LIKE ANYONE... WELL, I DO BUT I CAN'T TELL YOU SO HAHAHAHAHA SORRY!" I was practically yelling, not to mention my face was red as my ladybug suit. Adriens mouth opened to say something as we pulled up to my house.

I stepped out of the car and began to gather my bags, adrien helped by handing me the two shoe boxes. I looked up to him one more time and he was about to say something but he was cut off by a scream.

My head whipped to the side to catch a glimpse of a large circling black hole opening above the Eiffel tower. "Oh wow uh, I hope ladybug and cat noir get to that soon! Uh... bye Adrien see you on Monday!"

With that I ran inside, waving to my mom who was working at the bakery counter and calling to my dad who was in the back kitchen. "I'm gonna go do some homework in the apartment! See you guys later!" I had to act fast.

As soon as I was in the apartment I called out to Tikki as a ran towards the open window, "TIKKI SPOTS ON!" spandex wrapped around my body as I lept out of the living room window, not even nothing to make my way to my room. Quickly I used my yo-yo to swing through the skyline.

Adrien/POV
I watched Marinette run into her house as my driver began to speed off towards my own home... If I can even call it that.

I knew when I got home I had to go fight an Akuma but I couldn't even think about that. Marinette filled my every thought. As my driver pulled into the house I saw Natalie waiting for us out front.

"Take him to his room ill put the house on lockdown there seems to be an Akuma attack by the Eiffel Tower." emotionless as usual. After Natalie had commanded him, to the gorillas two large hands picked me up taking me to my room immediately.

After my bodyguard set me gently on the floor of my room he left, promptly closing the door behind him, plagg flew out with a groan. He knew we had to go but decided he would still try fighting me on it, like always.

Come on plagg Paris is in danger! I called to him.

So is Marinette... My head pounded at the thought, the Akuma was so close to her house when we had dropped her off I could only imagine-

No, I can't even imagine something bad happening to her, I- I just can't.

"Ugh fineeeeeeeee... But you owe me cam-" I cut him off with my transformation.

"PLAGG CLAWS OUT!"

R/Pov:
As ladybug came swinging through the skyline a certain black cat made his way towards her, well not intentionally. He was on his way to make sure the Akuma hadn't made it to Marinette's neighborhood.

"KITTY! Thank goodness I found you we have to get to the Eiffel Tower, I assume you saw whatever the heck it is growing in the sky!" ladybugs hand stretched out to point towards the blackening sky.

"Uh yes of course I did, who wouldn't miss that catastrophe!" Cat smiled as he got ready to jump off towards the tower before it caught his attention.

It was Marinette. It was Marinette's voice hitching from a loss of breath but still attempting to call out. It was Marinette dangling from the hand him.

He was Luka. He wouldn't hurt Marinette on purpose, but the cat lost all common sense.

Ladybug watched in horror as the black of his eyes left to almost nothing, and his jaw clenched simultaneously as his eyebrows furrowed. Gripping his staff he slammed it into the ground before leaping off the roof towards whatever he had seen.

Turning from the black sky above the tower she looked into whatever cat was running off to, but she couldn't see him anymore, nonetheless whatever had upset him so much. She turned back to the sky, an attempt to make a plan while waiting for chat to come back, she didn't need a plan now though.

The sky was clear and blue again.

"What the-" ladybug looked around confused, turning her head sharply to go find cat noir, she found him.

He was right in front of her, inches away. Stumbling backward showed a range of people, adrien, cat, Luka, alya, nino, her mom, her dad, a few people from her class.

"I- what are you all doing here? Cat you can't bring civilians onto the rooftops it's dangerous!" she began to scold still confused.

"And you can just keep LYING to us." Cat retorted coldly. "Why would you do this!?" her parents spit out, holding each other. "I can't believe I trusted you!" Alya's tone was deathly and hurtful. Nino continued to glare shaking his head. Slowly everyone was talking, hateful, judgmental, comments filled the air as her world began to spin.

"You a horrible friend Marinette!" cats words stung the most as she put it together.

Cat found out who she was, THEY ALL DID.

THEY HATED HER FOR IT.

Cat noir/ POV:
"Let her go" I called out trying to hide the fear of seeing Marinette so close to danger. He only snarled back at me before bounding away behind some buildings.

I chased after him but my mind kept moving back to ladybug, where the hell was she.

I paused.

Extended my staff as high as I could to get a good look at the pooling black sky, but it was gone... and right where I left ladybug she stood alone.

But... talking?

(1007 words) today was my last day of school so I should be posting more regularly and I'm gonna start writing on my iPad instead of my phone so expect an upgrade in the grammar and proofreading lol! Thanks for reading! Much love,
