I saw her on the floor bleeding out while being restrained by an unknown man. Screaming into someone's hand, being forced to watch my mother die right in front of me. "NO! NO!" I screamed into the man's hand trying to get them to save her, but my voice was muffled due to his hand.

As I stared at her, I saw the light slowly leave her eyes. "NO!" I screamed once more attempting to be released from his grip, to somehow save my mother. He finally loosened his grip enough for me to slip out of his arms and collapse onto the hard floor.

I slowly crawl towards her, my body aching from the man's tight grip. I finally get to her to see that she was no longer breathing. I turned my head, about to kill whoever did this to her, only to see that they were gone.

I was covered in blood that wasn't my own. I grip my mother's shoulders, shaking her to wake up. "MOM! MOM, WAKE UP!" I soon realized that she was gone, " NO, MOM P-PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME! P-P-PLEASE!" I stuttered, my brain not being able to register she was gone.

I sat in the pool of blood next to my mother's lifeless body and screamed. As loud as I could.

When I heard a familiar voice calling my name. Someone was shaking my shoulders violently. "Starla! Starla wake up!" I heard a voice scream.

I jolted up from my bed covered in sweat with tears in my eyes. I look to my right to see that Draco was indeed the person who woke me up. I put my trembling hand to my heart to calm myself after the nightmare I just had.

"Thank you, Draco," I spoke lowly.

"Yeah, no problem."

"Wait a second, how did you know I was having a nightmare?" I asked in a confused tone

"Well Hazel was with your brother doing god knows what, but as soon as she came into the common room, she heard you screaming. So she came and got me."

"Oh, well where is Hazel now?" I brought my head up to meet his eyes

"I'm pretty sure she's with your brother in his dorm."

"Okay."

I gazed at his bare back as he turned and began walking toward the door. Before his hand could turn the doorknob. I spoke, "Stay." one word that came out of my mouth to make him turn around.

"Okay," he responded walking toward my bed. He then sat on the ottoman.

"Why are you sitting over there," I asked as I let out a small chuckle

"Where else would I sit?" He asked, clearly confused by what I said.

I patted the space next to me in my queen bed. Signaling he comes to lay on the bed with me.

"Come lay down with me," I said as I made an adorable pouty face at him. No one could resist my pouty face.

"Okay," he walked over to the space in the bed and proceeded to lay down next to me.

He seemed stiff and uncomfortable. I guess I would be too considering Griff found us like this, he would probably kill Draco.

I scooted myself over to him. I then snuggled up to his bare chest. Feeling the warmth of his body. I placed my hand towards the middle of his chest. He quickly realized what I was doing, and slid his left arm around my waist. My shirt had risen, letting his arm rest on my lower stomach. His hand was placed at top of my underwear. I didn't mind. I snuggled closed, leaving absolutely no gap in between us.

"Thank you," I mumbled into his chest.

"For what?" he whispered

"For staying with me. I don't wanna be alone."

"Care to tell me what your nightmare was about?"

"Tomorrow" I whispered already half-asleep

"Goodnight darling," Draco said in a soft tone.

"Night" I whispered back

He kissed my forehead gently

Inches away from a deep slumber, all I could think about was Draco.

A/N: Okay so that wasn't the best chapter but I'm letting you all know this is not a very fast-paced book. This chapter is an important event that will be brought up again in upcoming chapters.
