The Meeting

'tak, tak, tak'

The sound of a knife meeting the wooden board fills the room. She diligently cooks every meal to perfection and make sure everything was set on the table.

Kun rubs his tired eyes as he sees her, he smiles as he approaches the kitchen. "Working hard, i see." he said, leaning his body to the kitchen counter.

She smiles and nod her head, "I need to impress her," she said before turning her body around. She sees the surrounding and took one last peek to the table, "I've made a lot, do you think she could finish it all?" she asked.

Kun took a peek at the table before replying, "Yeah, she has a good appetite," he replied and a smile start to form on his face as if he remembers something, "So dont worry about it, mom."

He smiled as he recalled on their second date they enjoy eating a full course of meal and just an hour after that she said that she is still hungry, so he went to a drive thru and bought her a big size of fries, waffles, and ice cream. She eats it in delight, that day he felt like they are eating non-stop but they enjoyed it so much.

His mom nods hearing this new info about Yuxin. "Well, dont just stand there. Go wash up." his mom order.

He immediately stand straight as he replied, "Yes, sir!" he yelled before leaving her and go take a shower. His mom just shakes her head seeing Kun's action.

Not long after that Kun was ready and start helping her mom preparing for the brunch he invited Yuxin to go to. Since they are both an idol, he can't go out to a public places with her, if they did they had to make reservation and go ignito which they are totally fine with it, but he's not sure his mom able to do so. So he invited her to go to his apartment, to meet his mother, officially this time.

'Ding, dong, ding'

The bell of his apartment rang and they both excitedly look at each other. "Oh, it must be her!" His mom squealed in excitement as she opens her apron, ready to open the door for her.

"Let me open it for you, mom." Kun volunteers, but his mom stops him. "What do you mean?" His mom said pouting a little, "I want to see my daughter in law too." she continued before skipping her way to the door.

Kun choked when he heard the word, 'daughter in law'. He's now afraid that his mom scares Yuxin away from him if she keeps saying that. So he quickly follow his mom as he complaints, "Please just be normal for once, you'll scare her away. Mom." 

Her mom hands was already on the door knob when she stops, "Alright, alright!" she replied to Kun. Before Kun even gets to reply her, his mom opens the door and greet Yuxin. 

"Hello, my daughter!" She greets her and quickly receive a smile from Yuxin.

Kun really want to slap himself on the face as his mom only erase daughter in law and now referring her as her own daughter.

His mom tilt her head as she sees Yuxin, "Ah.. You must be working before right?" she asked as she sees Yuxin was in a nice and neat suit.

"Im sorry if we disturb you in your busy schedules.." his mom said apologetically. Yuxin quickly shakes her head, "No, no. Its a pleasure of mine to be invited today. I actually am free for the day." Yuxin quickly replied.

His mom eyes glittering as she compliments her, "Ah, my daughter is so kind and nice.." she said as if she's becoming one of her fans.

Meanwhile Kun sigh from behind her, "Mom.." he said, keeps reminding her not to put Yuxin in an awkward position.

Yuxin then stretch out her hand and gave his mom a bouquet of flowers and a nice box of desserts, "I thought it would be a shame of me to come empty handed," she said as his mom received the gifts from her.
