One Percent

The Truth pt II

I was thinking of a softer approach when Kun suddenly came up to me on the middle of the night, "Mom its the last day of summer practice.." he said as he sits besides me, "Im going to confess to her tomorrow."

My heart drop to the ground as my body trembles.

"What are you planning to do?" i asked trying hard to cover my trembling hands, he smiled to me as he replied. "Im going to bring her flowers and confessed right in front of her"

'In public?!' i asked to myself, 'He will directly be judge by other people..' i continued.

"No." i blurred out my honest feeling right away, which shocked the both of us.

"I-i meant.." i said as i tried to find a better excuse, "You burden her if you confessed directly to her like that. plus there's a lot of room for error what if you forget what you gonna say?" 

he nods as he asked me, "So what should i do?"

"Just confess over a text," i replied, "You'll be less nervous.." 

he nods as he accepted the logic of my reasoning's. "Confessed to her tomorrow night, when she is done with practice and all so you wouldn't bother her."

"But.. the flower.." he frowned.

"You could send it to her when she accept your feelings, in matter of fact you can think what flower suits her and we just have to get a courier send it to her every now and then.." i replied and he nods accepting all my ideas.

In the mean time, as he agrees to my idea i had time to cramp up how to stop my son from confessing to a girl like her.

i was up all night trying to find a way to break them apart when my husband asked me to rest.

"Go rest already we have a long day tomorrow.." he said as he yawns.

"What are you thinking anyway.." he said as he looks at me, i cant tell him this matter. What if he get furious at Kun, i cant let my husband know about this matter.

I slide down and began to lay down on the bed, "I was just thinking you should take Kun to an amusement park since its the last day of us staying in Beijing because you haven't got a single time to spend with him.." i lied.

he nods as he smiled, "That is.. do able. i didnt have any business for tomorrow. if i agree will you finally rest?"

i nod as i smiled, "Thankyou." 

he smiled as he puts me in his arm, "No, i should be thanking you. You've tried so hard to stick this family of ours together." he said as he pats my back, trying to make me sleep. I snuggle in his embrace as i closed my eyes trying hard to sleep.

The day after, he fulfilled his promises and went all out playing with Kun as i sit on the bench waiting for them with all of their belongings. Suddenly Kun's phone vibrate and as soon as i took his phone, it was a text from xinxin.

Unknowingly, i began to scroll to their text and i knew that they both have fell in love with each other. it pains me so much to separate them, but for the sake of his future i need to.

Soon after that , they came back and i unconsciously turned off his phone and hid it on my bag. He was searching for it everywhere and i just claimed that he might lost it.

 I thought i could just throw this phone away and get him a new one and problem solved.

But he insist to have his old phone instead of the new ones. So i lied and said its probably on one of the luggage we bring and he should take a sleep first when we get back we can search for it.
