[FLASHBACK]
Kun sigh as his mom fixed his collar, "What again this time?" her mom asked while giving a piercing look at Kun.
"Mom, its not good enough." He said, he really doesn't want to perform somehow knowing that he cant give his all.
Kun's mom sigh, "Then practice more, recite the correct words. We practiced this millions of times. You can do it, Kun." she said as she fixed Kun's hair.
"I don't want to let you down, mom.." he said. His mom chuckled and nod, "My precious son, you would never let me down." she said, pinching Kun's cheek.
His mom who previously on her knees began to stand up, "The show won't start until 4pm, i heard there's a joint practice room near the hall. Go practice there, i'll be waiting for you at the audience seat."
Kun slowly nod as he take a heavy steps to the practice room.
Soon as he entered he was surprised that there are tons of kids his age, practicing their best for the same competition.
Kun could smell a sweat odor circulating the room, he sigh as he covered his nose with his clothes. He slowly entered the room as he took a thorough scan to every person he pass by, he sigh once more looking at how fierce everyone is.
He turn his head to the corner of the room as he smiled, a spot where no one has use yet and far away from other sweating kids is what he need.
He quickly walk there as he look through the full body mirror, he practice his best expression as he recite a poem he personally made. He then puts the poem down as he twirls his body trying to remember the dancing moves he had practice dozen of times.
He grit his teeth every time his body glitching, forgetting the detail of the dance. He tried again and again but he never able to perform a clean cut of the dance in one go. Annoyed by his own performance, he kicks his poem paper and ruffled his hair.
"Whatever. its better if i quit at this point!" he yelled to himself as he was thinking about storming away from the room.
"I wouldn't do that if i were you.." a girl voice could be heard not far from him. He turned his face to her, he saw a girl leaning against the wall not far from him.
"Were you eavesdropping?" he asked in annoyance. She raised both of her shoulder, "Theres only a small gap between you and me afterall, i was just staying still as i heard you yelling at yourself.." she explained.
She then stood up as she comes closer to him, he was so tiny that his height are only on her shoulder level.
Assuming he was much younger than her, she squad down, "Hey kid. Winning or losing should never be the main problem," she said as she took the poem paper that he kicked before, "Enjoying the process while it last and understand the depth of the learning process is much much more important than the trophy itself." she continued as she gave him his poem paper.
He look at her in such a weird look, he took the paper from her but his eyes fixed on her face.
"Were you planning to read those poems before you start your performance?" she asked, he slowly nods.
"Could you read it for me? it was such a good poem.." she asked him, his face starts to form a smile. He agreed and start reading the poem. She closes her eyes, enjoying his words. As he was done she asked him to dance in front of her.
He did his dance routine but he mistook a step and trip, his body falls to the hard cold floor. "Y-you okay?" she asked worrying if he hurt himself, she lend him a hand to help.
