Always from Afar

Chapter 3

I climbed back up the tree and stared at killua watching tv. His room was dark and the light glistened on his face in such a perfect way. I took my phone out and went to my camera to take a picture.

SHEENG

SHIT!!!! I had accidently left flash on. Killua turned his head quickly in my direction, to which I had already started to make my way down to hang on a branch just below his window.

After a few minutes of hanging I got back up to see killua sleeping on his bed. I watched him for 2 hours just like everyday.

"Goodnight, mon amor~," I said before taking another few pictures, making sure the flash was off, and sliding down the tree.

Killua's house was pretty far away from shops and neighborhoods, so I don't usually have to worry about people spotting me. Not to mention his house is in the middle of a very wooded area.

Tomorrow is the night! The night where I accidentally spill coffee on him, I decided that was a very subtle way to have him notice me!

I got back on my back and started riding back to my........motel.. The reason I live in a motel is simple.

If the cops come after me I can simply move from motel to motel without having my DNA traced, due to cleaning staff.

I biked up to the front office to see Shizuku on job. "Hey, Shizu!" I said kindly. She simply looked up at me and went to the back. She wasn't too much of a talker but she's still nice, and she has a really cute lizard named Blinky. Blinky greeted me with a little waddle. I patted his head gently and waited for Shizuku to bring me my key card, since I'm not good at keeping things in safe spots.

I waved goodbye to her and walked my bike to my room. Number 56. I grabbed my key card from my pocket. I inserted it in the door and entered the passcode. I opened my door and flopped on my messy bed.

Ugh such a long day.......hisoka is soooooo annoying! Killua looked cute tho! I wonder who that girl was.....maybe sister..or relative?

Would it be weird if I suddenly talked to him at school-? Why is he so blind? He really needs to be more careful with his surroundings, I've been watching him for 2 years and he still hasn't noticed me. What if someone dangerous was following him!? He'd be in danger!!!!! Tch I'll kill them!

I rolled over on my bed to check his social media. He posted a picture a few hours ago but I couldn't check it because I was working.

It was a picture of him watching tv with his sibling kalluto. I always thought kalluto was a girl but apparently they're nonbinary, and since I'm a good guy, I use their proper pronouns.

I was about to like his post when I remembered that if I did he would see....cant have that happen.

Eeeeek! I cant wait to see him tomorrow! I guess in the meantime I could stalk his page again.

An hour later....

I got tired and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and started getting ready for school.

We didnt have uniforms so I get to wear whatever I want! Tch but I'll have to deal with ertz. Shes nice and all but she takes my attention away from killua!

I grabbed my backpack off the floor and made sure I had everything. I saw that my ID card for school was missing.......

FUCK OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO!

I must've dropped it at killua's house!!!! If he finds it he'll know something's up!

I ran out of the door and on my bike I quickly smacked my key card on the desk and yelled by to feitan.

"Cya hotty!!!!" He yelled.

"Hhaha bye shorty!" I yelled back.

Tch don't assume! Me and feitan are really good friends, we always platonically flirt with eachother.

I rode my bike as fast as I could to killuas house and up to were my ID would've fell.

It wasn't there. I searched everywhere. I couldn't find it! I decided itd be best to go to the school and see if one of his siblings found it.

I went to the school and told the principal about it, not were I lost it ofc! He said that no one reported a missing ID card, but that he could check the files to see if I had actually been enrolled in that college. He said I was okay to go inside the school but that I had to have a slip with me until they could get me a new ID card.

I walked into the school with my slip in my back pocket.

I was heading to find killua when I felt a light hand touch my wrist. I turned around to see..MY LOVE!!!! DOES HE WANNA TALK TO ME!? BEIDUDBDBDHH IM GOING TO LIKE DIE OF JOY!!!

" hey!" He said confidently.

I smiled, "can I help you?"

He thought for a moment, "yeah can I speak with you privately?" He said as he grabbed my forearm and pulled me to the janitors closet, not even letting me answer.

"Eeehhhhh!" I yelped.

He swung me against the door, chest facing the door and held my arms in a very tight grip behind me, digging his nails into my wrists. His elbow was pushed into the middle of my back.

"Now, freecss, tell me why you were at my house!" He said into my ear firmly.

I didnt answer. He got mad and pushed his elbow into my back more. He was so small, I didn't even think he was strong enough to hurt a fly!

"You better start talking or else I'm going to dig these nails into your neck and kill you."

I gulped the lump in my throat. " i....I'm s-sorry- Aaack!" I yelped as he kicked my leg making me fall to the floor. He had his foot on my chest and he nelt down. "Sorry doesnt answer my que..stion...." his voiced started out as angry but then reached a voice heard with confusion.

His eyes widened a little then narrowed. "I know you..dont i?" He said coldly. "I....yes."I answered, I'm not really in the mood to die right now. He had alot of strength, I dont mind getting beat by him, but death doesnt seem nice right now.

"From where?" He asked, voice still cold. "I saw you at a ...store yesterday. I thought you were cute....I just wanted to talk to you" I said lying, one of the things I'm very good at.

His grip loosened, "oh-! I-im soooooo sorry!!!!! I thought..." he started but didnt end up finishing his sentence. He got off of me and extended his hand to me to help me up. I grabbed it and almost fell down but didn't.

"I'm really sorry for that!!! Is there any way I could make it up to you!?"he asked apologetically. I thought then smiled, "yes! I want you to be my friend!"

I'm so so so so so sorry!!!!! I know I hadnt posted in a little while and I very sorry! But anyway here's the new chapter! I hope you enjoyed!
