Chapter 17: One Way Ticket

Agnes' Pov

It was the next day and before you know it here we were back at school. The whole day, I spent away from everyone, and from everything. During the night Astrid came and tried to talk to me but saw that I was asleep so she let me be. But I wasn't asleep as all the people say, I was just closing my eyes. Resting. Without having the nightmares and the memories of what happen linger onto my skin, like it has for the past couple of weeks.

I sneaked out early in the morning and just roamed around until I was able to come to school, the library was my place of choice, it was a place of comfort.

"Hey Agnes," Mark called out as he sat in front of me,

"Oh, hey Mark," I greeted as I put my book a little bit away from me, "What's up?

"I heard what happened," he said as he lightly grasped my hands that were placed on the table, "And I am so sorry about it. You shouldn't have to go through shit like that,"

"What're you talking about?" I asked confused,

"I heard what that Mr.Oh guy did to you, and other students," he sighed out as he drew his hands back and looked at me, inspecting my reaction.

"How-" I gulped and stared at him for a good couple of seconds before saying, "How did you hear about that?"

"Sungchan-" he didn't even have to finish his sentence as I was already up and out of my seat, quickly rushing to find where that asshole was.

"I'll see you later,"

I walked towards the lockers, and in between I saw people giving me pity stares, and small choruses of 'I'm so sorry' or 'Poor thing'. I immediately shook my head and kept going.

It wasn't until I saw the familiar deer head that I was able to rush towards him and forcefully pull him to face me.

"You had no right, to tell anyone about what you heard," I said as I glared at him.

"I was just trying to help-" He said as he tried to convince me otherwise,

"Well you didn't," I exclaimed as I crossed my arms and shook my head, "In fact you made everything worse,"

"Nes," Shotaro said as he peeped out from behind the taller one, "Sungchan and I just didn't want you to you to have to go through this alone!"

"Shotaro, I appreciate that you guys care but this is exactly why I didn't want anyone finding out," I said as they both sighed and leaned back before looking over at me, "Everyone is going to pity me,  they already do, and everyone is going to use this against my family!" At this point talking to myself as I was panicking, I was scared, and I wasn't ready to actually have to face this.

"Nes, this isn't going to end until you get a grip!" Sungchan said as he grabbed my shoulders to prevent me from shaking out of control.

"Who else knows?" I asked with barely a whisper.

"Everyone-" Shotaro started before he looked behind me,

"We know now Nes," Haechan said from behind me.

"You can't hide it now," Chenle exclaimed as he looked at me, "Tell us what happened!"

"Agnes," Astrid said as she walked forward and grabbed my hands as I faced them now, "It happened to me too, and I know that it's hard to talk about but you need to let people in,"
