Chapter 6 (Our Date)

Camila's POV

I really wanted to tell Lauren how i felt about her but i was so scared she wouldn't feel the same. Before i could think about it I blurred out "Wait...". Lauren turned around and looked at me with a confused face and said "What's up Camz?". I felt my face turn red, i had no idea what to say but i managed to say "What was the homework for tonight?". Lauren looked at me and smiled, "We had homework for 2nd period, page 258-262". I had no idea why i said that. I got nervous.

Narrator's POV

Lauren: "Is that it camz?"
Camila: "Yeah, thanks i just wanted to know the homework"
Lauren: "Okay then, I'm going to head home. Goodnight Camz"
Camila: "Wait, don't you want your hoodie back" she said taking it off.

Lauren made her way back up Camila's doorstep and put it back on Camila.
Lauren: "No.. keep it. It looks perfect on you"
Camila: "Thank you" she said blushing "Text me when you get home, ok?"
Lauren: "Okay camz, i will"

Lauren kissed Camila's cheek and left towards the car. Camila's eyes followed Lauren until she could no longer see her. Camila went inside her house and saw her mom on the couch.
Camila's Mom: "Mila, where were you?!"
Camila: "Sorry mom i forgot to tell you i was at my friend's house"
Camila's Mom: "Well are you ok? Is it a boy? What happened? You didn't do anything did you?"
Camila: "Mom, mom, mom! No! My friend is a girl and her name is Dinah. Other friends were there too like Normani, Ally and Lauren"

A smile escaped Camila's face as she mentioned Lauren's name.
Camila's Mom: "Okay well, head up to your room and get ready for bed"

Camila kissed her mom on the cheek.
Camila: "Buenas Noches Mami"

Camila headed up to her room. She got ready for bed, she put on comfortable pj's and made her way to her bathroom to brush her mouth. As soon as she rinsed her mouth she heard her phone vibrating, she saw that Lauren was calling her and her heart fluttered a little. She picked up.

Phone call

Camila: "Hello?" Lauren: "Hey Camz, I'm home now. I went to drop off Dinah's car back at her house but she gave me a ride home" Camila: "That's good, okay now go to bed because we're going out in the morning remember?" Lauren: "I'm picking you up at 7:20 so be ready" she said laughing. Camila: "Sounds like a date to me". Lauren: "It kinda is, but let me ask you properly. Camila will you go on a date with me?" Camila: "Yes i would Ms.Jauregui". They both laughed. Camila: "Go to sleep" Lauren: "I can't because now all i want to do is talk to you". Camila: "Aww, that's cute" Lauren: "it's cute... like you". Camila blushed and was speechless. Lauren: "But since you're a baby and need to go to sleep, I'll end the conversation" she said teasing. Camila: "Text me in the morning" Lauren: "Okay then, goodnight babe" Camila: "Goodnight".

*still Narrator's POV*

Camila put her phone down and went to her bed. She had a smile on her face because of Lauren. Camila slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep.

The next morning

Camila's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, i opened my eyes and read the clock, it read 6:30am. I usually hate waking up early but i didn't mind waking up today because i was going to go get breakfast with Lauren. I made my way to my bathroom and took a shower, i decided to put on dark blue jeans, a black crop top and a plain blue flannel with black combat boots and a black bow to go with my outfit. I waited in the living room, waiting to get a text from Lauren.

Lauren's POV

I woke up really early today to get ready for my date with Camz, I bought her flowers so I could give them to her. I went through my closet a couple hundred times trying to find the perfect outfit. I finally made up my mind and decided to wear a dark blue crop top, black jeans, a black wind breaker and gumsole vans. I texted Camz saying "Goodmorning Camzzzzzz, Are you up?". She replied immediately saying "Yup, I've been up waiting for you". I replied while grabbing my car keys "Okay good, I'm on my way".

10 minutes later

Narrator's POV

Lauren made it to Camila's house and parked outside her house. Lauren got the flowers from the backseat and walked towards Camila's house. She knocked on Camila's door feeling a bit nervous. Camila opened the door and threw herself at Lauren, Lauren gave her a tight hug and handed the flowers to Camila. Camila: "Are they for me?" Lauren: "Yeah.. I hope you like them" Camila: "Lauren they are beautiful, cmon in. Let's put the flowers in water". Camila's hand reached out for Lauren's and their fingers interwind. Camila's mom was in the kitchen and Camila introduced Lauren to her. Camila: "Mom, this is Lauren". Lauren: "Nice to meet you" Camila's Mom: "Nice to meet you too Lauren, who gave you those flowers Mila?" Camila: "Lauren did" she smiled and put them into water. Camila's Mom: "Well they are really pretty" she said with a smile. Camila: "Mom we're going out to eat but we're going straight to school after that" Camila's Mom: "Okay then, be careful. Bye girls nice to meet you Lauren" Lauren: "You too". Camila's mom knew Camila was into girls and she could tell Camila liked Lauren. Camila and Lauren headed out the door and Lauren opened the door for Camila. Lauren went into the drivers seat and stared at Camila for awhile. Camila: "Why are you staring at me?" She said laughing. Lauren: "Because you look beautiful" Camila couldn't help but blush. Lauren: "Ready for our date?" Camila: "yes, I'm ready". Camila's hand reached out for Lauren's and Lauren drived away to the restaurant.
