A/N: Hello and welcome back again, my dear readers! ^_^
Ready for another chapter?

The wind blew past Salem's hair as she sat calmly on the back of an ancient Nevermore. Why a Nevermore? Because she was the Grimm queen, that's why.
No, it was definitely not because she had little to no idea how to operate Bullheads or any of the advanced carriages humans have created these days.
She inhaled the familiar scent of the air humans breathed. This was a sensation she sorely missed.
She had to admit, being cooped up in the Evernight Castle had been pleasant at first but it was an inherent desire in humans to never stay put in one place, not that she was human anymore so it hardly mattered for an immortal like her.
But if there was one thing she learned about humans through the eons of her existence, is that they are never contented to stay in one place by constantly evolving, creating, and utilizing technology to revolutionize their species.
They always desire more.
As she sat, still deep within her thoughts, the Seer she held in hand croaked audibly with its orb glowing red. Ah, it would seem the juvenile Nevermores she had sent to scout the place where the boy was in Mistral were already in place.
She resisted the urge to form a smirk at getting a one-up over Ozma having to consume another great portion of his magic to give those Branwen siblings their corvid forms. Birds were for the win for reconnaissance.
Yes, she was petty, sue her.
Activating the seer, the red clouds swirled away to show her a bird's eye view of the area. Critically watching the view, it didn't take too long for her to spot the very meadow where she had spotted the boy. It was way deep into the thick forests of a nearby town which was where the boy had probably lived.
Why is he not among the townspeople?
From what she saw, the boy was clearly living in isolation, away from the people. The meadow was quite a distance away from the village. Did the townspeople perhaps discover his ability to tame Grimm? Or were there other reasons?
Either way, she'd find out soon once she's there.
"Make haste," she commanded the Nevermore beneath her. With a loud croak, the monstrous corvid obeyed and flew faster. There were still a few spare hours until she'd reach the forests of Mistral. Laying down on the bird's soft feathers, her thoughts went to the boy's visage.
Everything about the boy screamed holy. His innocent and kind demeanor, a strange otherworldly beauty that she couldn't describe, his benevolent nature towards her Grimm, if that didn't scream perfection to her, then the word may as well cease to exist.
